From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies.\nResponsibilities\nPosition Purpose: This role sits within the LATAM engineering group, working on mission-critical systems: order routing and trade capture, exchange and clearinghouse integrations (B3, CME, local CSDs), post-trade processing, regulatory reporting, and client-facing platforms. You will be a senior individual contributor with strong ownership over design and delivery, partnering directly with trading, operations, compliance, and global engineering teams.We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative QA Engineer to support the quality of web-based financial applications across StoneX's LATAM business lines. This person will work with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Managers, and Automation Engineers to understand requirements, execute tests, report defects, and help deliver stable solutions.\nThe role exists to raise the quality bar on regional platforms - increasing release confidence, reducing manual regression effort, and validating the features and integrations required by local market structure and regulation, while aligning to StoneX global quality standards.\nThis role is ideal for someone with solid functional testing experience who is interested in developing automation and technical skills.\nPrimary duties will include:\nReview requirements and identify questions, risks, and missing scenarios; participate in refinement with business stakeholders.\nDesign and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for services supporting trading, clearing, settlement, and reporting workflows.\nPrepare test data and validate business rules, calculations, files, permissions, and system behavior.\nTest integrations with exchanges, clearinghouses, market data providers, and internal global platforms (REST, messaging, file-based protocols).\nValidate data pipelines and reconciliation processes feeding regulatory and internal reporting (CVM/B3, CNBV, and equivalents), including data integrity and completeness checks.\nReport, track, and retest defects with clear steps and supporting evidence; support root-cause analysis and regression-gap identification for production issues.\nMaintain test cases, execution results, traceability, and QA documentation.\nCollaborate with the team to improve test coverage, identify scenarios for automation, and progressively contribute to automated suites and CI/CD quality gates.\nCoordinate with distributed teams across the US, UK, and Asia; including working across time zones and in English.\nThis list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary.\nQualifications\nTo land this role you will need:\n2 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.\nExperience testing web applications and creating clear, well-structured test cases.\nExperience managing defects from identification through final validation.\nUnderstanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.\nFamiliarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.\nGood analytical, communication, and organizational skills.\nProfessional working proficiency in English (written and spoken); fluent Spanish.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nWhat makes you stand out:\nCandidates are not expected to meet all these qualifications:\nExperience with financial, capital markets, or transactional applications - brokerage, clearing, asset management, exchange, or fintech.\nDomain knowledge of trading lifecycle, post-trade operations, market data, or risk;
