Responsibilities

Position Purpose: You’ll own automated quality across the Risk & AI Vertical. This is a hands-on, code-writing role: you’ll build and maintain the test automation that keeps our risk modeling, custom data & risk feeds, and interactive visualization products reliable release after release.

You’ll write C# automation to test APIs, services and data pipelines behind risk modeling and the data & risk feeds, and use Playwright to automate the interactive risk-modeling and visualization interfaces across web (and mobile). You’ll embed quality into the agile process, work across the Intelligent Risk and Intelligence Weaving teams, and lean on AI tooling to accelerate test creation and coverage - bringing the same AI-augmented way of working as the rest of the vertical.

Technical Ecosystem

• Test Automation: C# automation frameworks (e.g. xUnit / NUnit, NBomber); Playwright for UI / end-to-end (web + mobile web)
• API & Service Testing: REST, streaming and gRPC; contract and integration tests
• Languages: C# (.NET); TypeScript / JavaScript where useful for Playwright
• CI/CD: GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions; automated test pipelines
• Under Test: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL; Kafka / ActiveMQ; AI risk models & data feeds; React visualization UIs

Primary Duties Will Include

• Design, write and maintain automated tests in C# across APIs, services and data pipelines for risk modelling and the custom data & risk feeds.
• Build end-to-end and UI automation with Playwright for the interactive risk-modelling and data & risk-visualization interfaces (web + mobile).
• Create and own test frameworks, reusable libraries and test data, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines so they run automatically on every change.
• Validate data quality, entitlement / permissioning and personalization across the vertical’s products.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate test creation, coverage analysis and maintenance.
• Partner with engineers across the Intelligent Risk and Intelligence Weaving teams to embed quality early (shift-left), define acceptance criteria, and review coverage.
• Triage failures, log defects with clear reproduction steps, and help drive root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to regression, performance and reliability testing across web, mobile and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, design sessions and agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

To Land this role you will need

• Solid test automation experience with strong C# coding skills - this is a hands-on role that writes real code, not just scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (or comparable modern UI / E2E frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium) for web automation.
• Experience automating API / service tests (REST, and ideally streaming or gRPC) and integration tests.
• Comfortable writing clean, maintainable code and building and owning test frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Good working knowledge of databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) for data validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for edge cases.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; fluent in English (spoken and written).
• A growth mindset and a real interest in AI-assisted testing and development.

What will make you stand out

• Experience testing financial, trading, risk or data-heavy products - or a strong desire to learn.
• Experience testing data pipelines, real-time / streaming data, or charting / visualization UIs.
• Experience with performance / load testing (e.g. NBomber, k6) and observability (e.g. Grafana).
• Mobile test automation experience.
• Experience with BDD or contract testing (SpecFlow / Reqnroll, Pact).
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing and coding tools (GitHub Copilot, MS Copilot, Anthropic Claude / Claude Code, Cursor).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience.

Working environment

• 4 days in office per week
