Every day.\nWe are now looking for a Controller for a part-time position to join our team in Ostrava, Czechia.\nAs our Controlling team role in Ostrava has grown significantly, we are looking for a temporary part-time team member to strengthen the team during this period of growth.\nThe main purpose of this role is to support in controlling and closing tasks during peak workload while the future team setup continues to evolve and stabilize.\nThis is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, offered on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027.\nThe role is a great opportunity for a professional looking for flexible working opportunities to join a growing Controlling team and contribute to its day-to-day activities while we continue to establish and optimize the future team structure.\nAs a Controller, you will be responsible for:\nSupport controlling and financial reporting processes for entity/function in scope of responsibility\nContribute to efficient and accurate closing, analysis, planning and reporting related activities for the entity/ function\nCollaborate with other Finance Operations processes Record to Report (RtR), Purchase to Pay (PtP), Order to Cash (OtC)\nEnsure Stora Enso Finance processes and policies are applied in entity/ function\nProactively find opportunities, suggest actions and drive change to continuously improve and harmonize end-to-end controlling processes\nDrive and contribute to process automation and other development projects\nEnsure close co-operation and communication with entity/ function and key stakeholders in Finance and other functions\nSupport and train stakeholders in controlling related matters\nQualifications:\nEducation in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (economy high school diploma/university degree)\nExperience in controlling, management reporting or accounting\nGood understanding of controlling processes (entity closing and operative financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting)\nKnowledge of controlling tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Excel, SAP, OneStream, Power BI)\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail\nAbility to operate in a matrix organization in international environment\nGood communication skills and business-oriented mindset\nFluent in English (written and spoken) at least B2 level\nWhat we offer\nBy joining us, you will be part of our diverse working culture supporting you to explore new perspectives and develop professionally.
