Every day. \nWe are now looking for a Senior Controller to join our team in Ostrava, Czechia. This position is ideal for professionals with approximately 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, accounting, or financial audit.\n\nAs a Senior Controller, you will be responsible for:\n\nFull ownership of content within income statement and balance sheet of relevant entity or function in scope of responsibility\nOwn and ensure efficient and accurate closing activities with respect to relevant accounting and reporting framework, and Stora Enso policies\nPrepare, record, verify, analyze, and report P&L and balance sheet transactions with respect to correctness and completeness\nDrive financial governance by steering and monitoring controlling & financial reporting processes with respect to correctness and completeness\nManage and challenge the forecasting and budgeting process in entity or function\nStrategic Business Partnering with Business Area/Business Unit management regarding key financial issues, providing ad hoc analysis, as needed, to support business decisions\nAct as a representative for certain entity or function for requests from other Finance Operations teams (RtR, PtP and OtC) \nContact for external auditors and consultants as well as for the internal stakeholders within the Business Area and Group\nIdentify opportunities for process optimization, automation and harmonization. Lead and drive improvements and development projects within controlling and finance\nRequired Skills, competences, and experience:\nEducation in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (economy high school diploma/university degree)\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, accounting, or financial audit\nFluent in English (written and spoken) at least B2 level\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (esp.
