This role requires strong technical knowledge, including reading construction drawings, operating forklifts, rigging and lifting, welding, fabrication, and general hand tool use. The ideal candidate has a technical degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with material handling systems, and proficiency in MS Office. Success in this role also requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work around customer schedules, and up to 75% travel.\nOVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES\nRunning of multiple crews (combination of company crews and subcontractors)\nOversee mechanical installations\nAssist in build of automation and mechanical projects\nInstall material handling systems\nKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS\nReading and understanding construction drawing plans\nDriving forklifts and other industrial equipment\nProper rigging and lifting techniques\nWelding and metal fabrication\nUse of hand tools\ntroubleshooting conveyor issues.\nunderstanding low voltage wiring.\nrobotics experience is a plus.\nFabrication skills.\nPROFESSIONAL QUALITIES\nTechnical degree or equivalent work experience\nFamiliar with material handling systems\nAbility and willingness to learn new technologies quickly\nWillingness to work around customers schedule in order to minimize customer downtime\nPossess good written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to interact with all levels of management, clients and vendors\nProficient with MS Office (especially Word and Excel)\nWORK CONDITIONS\nAble to travel up to 75%\nWhy work for Storage Solutions - A Jungheinrich Company?\nOur greatest asset is our people.
