Able to lead others through effective decision making and a sense of responsibility. Must be flexible with the ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Responsible for all levels of the receiving process including ensuring all shipments are received, processed, and staged within the required time frames. Managing the processes and productivity of the Receiving team for both AM and PM shifts. Proactive planning of inbound shipments by securing space allocation and precision of Client’s inventory and Supplies. Ensuring Receiving team is following receiving procedures as well as general policies including onboarding and assisting with interviews pertaining to the receiving team. Working Closely with Operations manager and upper management to improve efficiencies, execute projects, allocate new Clients spacing and executing Client exits accordingly.What You'll Do:\nLead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals.\nManage team to receive all inbound Client inventory within SLA time frames. \nEnsure everything is received and staged accurately into racks/ pallet locations.\nCoordinating the Scheduling, processing, and placement of all inbound inventory as well as Client and Warehouse Supplies.\nWork with Operations manager for new and exiting Clients as well as changes with existing clients.\nWork with Operations manager on major rack/floor spacing changes that are necessary for operations.\nWork with upper management to improve efficiency and minimize inventory inconsistencies on all levels of the receiving process.\nReport with upper management any client needs requested outside of normal receiving processes on how to proceed.\nTrain receiving team to ensure all processes are being followed & applied.\nWork closely with support staff (HR, Safety, Customer Service, Other Ops Leaders) to drive results. \nAddress operational and personnel issues affecting functional areas. \nImplement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms.\nUtilize workload planning tools and other resources to complete scheduled workload ensuring orders are fulfilled to meet standards.\nInvestigate discrepancies and variances.\nPerform to quality standards in multiple functions.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nResponsible for a safe work environment through a continuous focus on employees’ safety & abidance of State Regulations & company safety standards.\nEnsure orders are processed in an efficient period based on priority & SLAs.\nUnderstand, drive & ensure departmental key performance indicators (KPI) are being met.\nUtilize WMS (Scale) to manage & assign daily/weekly workload.\nPlan & allocate labor to the necessary roles based on daily output & projections.\nWork closely with upper management to improve warehouse processes & efficiencies.\nWork with upper management in proper labor alignment as well as equipment needs.\nResponsible for managing team’s timecard, weekly approval, PTO, sick days, and personal leaves.\nExpected to drive teams time and attendance policy daily.\nResponsible for creating, conducting employee counsel reports, terminations; with HR support.\nReport accidents & injuries to upper management, HR, and safety department; following reporting procedure.\nMaintain the warehouse in presentable condition by ensuring housekeeping.\nManage warehouse supplies to ensure order fulfillment.\nExpected to drive excellent communication via email, text, and phone calls.\n\nWhat You'll Need:\no Experience operating various pieces of equipment (forklift, manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, handheld scanner, box cutter, desktop computer, scale, shrink wrap and baler).\nMinimum of four to five years’ experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) / inventory systems in a high-volume facility.\nPrevious leadership experience. \nBachelor’s Degree or relevant experience\nPossesses basic clerical and data entry skills.\nPossesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.\nExcellent communication and people skills. Able to interact effectively with all levels of management and support teams. \nProven ability to train and motivate personnel to balance staffing strength towards profitability and growth. \nMust be able to communicate, both verbally and in writing, using the English language\nMust be flexible with scheduling, work overtime as business dictates.\nAble to transport up to 40 lbs. \nAble to perform basic mathematical calculations.\nAble to recognize and address vital details with accuracy and efficiency.\nAble to work independently with minimum supervision.\nAble to build solid, effective working relationships with others.\nAble to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.\nAble to effectively use relevant material handling equipment (i.e., forklifts).\nAble to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information.\nAble to work in a Distribution center environment which includes exposure to work at varying heights;
