Able to lead others through effective decision making and a sense of responsibility. Must be flexible with the ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed.\nThis individual will support the execution of all processes and procedures related to Sortation and Dock Management. Utilizes Order Management System and various types of material handling equipment.\nJob Description\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals.\n\nOwnership of Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping department\n\nWork closely with support staff (HR, Safety, Customer Service, Other Ops Leaders) to drive results.\n\nAddress operational and personnel issues affecting functional area.\n\nImplement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms.\n\nUtilize workload planning tools and other resources to complete scheduled workload ensuring orders are fulfilled to meet standards.\n\nInvestigate discrepancies and variances.\n\nPerform to quality standards in multiple functions.\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\nWhat You'll Need:\nMinimum of two to four years’ experience working with automated sortation systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Dock Management platforms in a high-volume facility.\n\nPrevious leadership experience.\n\nBachelor’s Degree or relevant experience\n\nAbility to manage carriers and drivers on a daily basis\n\nPossesses basic clerical and data entry skills.\n\nPossesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
