Stord is a supply chain technology and services company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and founded in 2015. The company provides an integrated platform that combines cloud-based software, including order and warehouse management systems, with a physical network of fulfillment centers and logistics services. It operates a nationwide distribution network across the United States, serving direct-to-consumer and business-to-business brands through AI-powered optimization and omnichannel fulfillment solutions.

Stord is The Consumer Experience Company, powering seamless checkout through delivery for today's leading brands. Stord is rapidly growing and is on track to double our revenue in the next 18 months. To meet and exceed this target, Stord is strategically scaling teams across the entire company, and seeking energetic experts to help us achieve our mission.

By combining comprehensive commerce-enablement technology with high-volume fulfillment services, Stord provides brands a platform to compete with retail giants. Stord manages over $10 billion of commerce annually through its fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and operator-built software suite including OMS, Pre- and Post-Purchase, and WMS platforms. Stord is leveling the playing field for all brands to deliver the best consumer experience at scale.

With Stord, brands can increase cart conversion, improve unit economics, and drive sustained customer loyalty. Stord’s end-to-end commerce solutions combine best-in-class omnichannel fulfillment and shipping with leading technology to ensure fast shipping, reliable delivery promises, easy access to more channels, and improved margins on every order.

Hundreds of leading DTC and B2B companies like AG1, True Classic, Native, Seed Health, quip, goodr, Sundays for Dogs, and more trust Stord to deliver industry-leading consumer experiences on every order. Stord is headquartered in Atlanta with facilities across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Stord is backed by top-tier investors including Kleiner Perkins, Franklin Templeton, Founders Fund, Strike Capital, Baillie Gifford, and Salesforce Ventures.

Stord has built one of the world’s leading delivery networks with fulfillment centers across North America, UK, and EU delivering to nearly one in four US households and running a vertically integrated tech stack that allows for unprecedented automation and efficiency. Over the past ~9mo, Stord has expanded these capabilities into the front-end commerce journey and consumer experience, building and launching ~8 new products in the pre- and post-purchase ecommerce space. This product portfolio has quickly scaled in breadth and shown high-adoption and revenue growth. This has created a high-impact opportunity for a capable, experienced, and strategic leader to continue its exponential growth trajectory - both in product capability and compound product platform and in adoption and growth.

The Vice President of Product, Commerce will own the product and revenue outcomes of the Commerce suite of products across Stord including, as of today, 8 different products that operate across the pre- and post-purchase consumer experience to drive increased add-to-cart and checkout conversion, AOV, margin per order, LTV, and subscriber retention. This individual will be expected to build, manage, and scale a world-class product team of high-ownership, fast-paced, product managers. They will be responsible for the short and long-term product roadmap and strategy to deliver market-leading value and outcomes for customers, achieve Stord’s revenue and strategy goals, and deliver products that compound in capability and competitive position over time. As part of this leadership role, they will be expected to ensure commercial success - spending time with customers; partnering with Sales, Marketing, CX, Implementations, Solutions, and other cross-functional teams; iterating on pricing and packaging; establishing clear market positioning; and removing barriers to maximum product adoption and growth. The VP of Product, Commerce will be responsible for scaling and launching new products and expanding the product portfolio into additional high-growth products, new markets, and new business lines.

What You'll Own

  • Product strategy and roadmapacross the full Commerce suite of products covering the end-to-end pre- and post-purchase consumer experience. This includes products like Estimated Delivery Dates and Dynamic Ship Options, Post-Purchase Tracking, Unbox, Subscriptions Management, Shipment Protection, and more.
  • Team leadership- build and lead a team of world-class product managers within the Commerce product organization. You will be expected to hire exceptional product talent, develop product managers who understand this domain as deeply as you do, and create the kind of team that compounds over time. The calibre of this team is what determines whether we win.
  • Commercial alignment- work directly with sales, solutions, and client success on competitive positioning, client retention, and new logo requirements. You understand what it takes to win a deal and what keeps a client for life. Revenue outcomes are not someone else's problem.
  • Operational Excellence - define and own the operating cadences, metrics, and rituals that keep the Commerce product organization running at a fast pace. You set the bar for how products are spec'd, shipped, measured, and iterated. You own the portfolio prioritization framework that ensures the team is always working on the highest-value work. You drive adoption and attach rates.
  • Delivering Value - own the revenue outcomes of the Commerce suite. You are accountable for software cARR growth across the portfolio: from pricing and packaging decisions to attach rate optimization to identifying and launching net-new products. You measure your team's success not by features shipped but by revenue generated, customer outcomes improved, and competitive position strengthened.

What We're Looking For

  • You have deep domain knowledge in Ecommerce and Commerce. You've operated an Ecommerce business or scaled products servicing Ecommerce brands/merchants. You understand the metrics Ecommerce founders, Marketing leaders, CX leaders, Operations leaders, and Finance leaders care about and recognize the throughlines of growth goals, retention targets, and margin and cash targets between them all.
  • You've led a product organization at scale in a complex environment.Think high-growth venture-backed unicorns, software companies that have gone public, or a comparable scaled logistics technology platform. You've managed a multi-product portfolio to successful outcomes and built the organization required to drive that success. You’ve hired world-class PMs and coached into a product organization that others copy and want to poach.
  • You can go both wide and deep. You are not a pure strategist who can't get into the weeds, and you are not someone who goes so deep on one product area that everything else falls behind. This role spans a number of independent and interrelated products, with more planned. You manage the portfolio of products with discipline and can zoom in and out when it counts.
  • You understand Ecommerce economics. The same metrics an Ecommerce founder, marketer, operator, or leader thinks about for their business are the lens through which you evaluate every product decision. You can sit across from a brand's CFO, CMO, or CEO and speak their language. And you deliver product outcomes that materially move the unit economics and conversion metrics for brands.
  • You have a point of view on best-in-class consumer experiences in a fast-changing landscape. The best post-purchase experiences today won't be the best in 6 months. You track how leading brands, adjacent industries, AI, technology trends, cultural trends, and new startups are changing the pre-purchase, checkout, and post-purchase journey. You have conviction about the future of consumer experiences and can translate that conviction into a product roadmap that stays ahead of the market.

Success Profile

A successful VP of Product will be able to:

  • Set a compelling product vision and translate it into an executable roadmap.

  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on product judgment.

  • Go deep enough to understand product, customer, technical, and operational details.

  • Make disciplined tradeoffs across competing priorities.

  • Lead through influence across Engineering, GTM, Operations, Finance, and executive stakeholders.

  • Build strong product teams and raise the quality of product decision-making.

  • Use customer insight, data, and business context to guide product direction.

  • Drive adoption and measurable outcomes, not just feature delivery.

  • Operate effectively in ambiguity and complexity.

  • Represent the product internally and externally with credibility.

What We Are Not Looking For

  • A pure strategist who cannot engage deeply in product details, customer problems, or execution tradeoffs.

  • A single-product specialist who has not demonstrated the ability to manage broader portfolio complexity.

  • A product leader who relies on roadmap process without clear business impact.

  • A leader who treats commercial outcomes, customer adoption, or implementation success as someone else’s responsibility.

  • A product manager who has not managed or developed other product managers.

  • A leader who cannot communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A candidate who speaks in broad product language but cannot provide specific examples of shipped products, tradeoffs, metrics, and outcomes.
