SENS is growing rapidly, and Manufacturing Engineering will be central to how we scale.\nYou’ll have the opportunity to:\nBuild and develop a team while shaping the future of the Manufacturing Engineering function.\nMake a visible impact on how products move from engineering into production and how manufacturing processes evolve as we grow.\nDrive modernization through automation, new technologies, process improvement, and smarter manufacturing systems.\nWork where engineering meets the floor-staying close to the people, products, and processes your decisions affect.\nInfluence how we scale, partnering across the organization to build manufacturing capabilities for the company SENS is becoming.\nResponsibilities\nLead, mentor, develop, and manage the Manufacturing Engineering team, including Manufacturing Engineers, Production Development Engineers, Manufacturing Software Engineers, and Production Support Technicians.\nEstablish departmental goals, priorities, project plans, resource allocation, and performance metrics aligned with company objectives.\nEnsure effective day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing operations by removing production constraints, minimizing downtime, and resolving technical issues.\nOversee the development and maintenance of manufacturing processes, work instructions, test procedures, tooling, fixtures, automation systems, and production software solutions.\nCollaborate with teams on manufacturing capacity planning, line balancing, workflow optimization, and production scalability initiatives to support business growth.\nEnsure manufacturing processes, test methods, and production controls consistently meet quality, safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.\nLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) efforts related to manufacturing defects and production downtime\nManage manufacturing engineering projects, engineering changes, capital equipment investments, and departmental budgets while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.\nResponsible for key KPI’s including production line uptime, productivity project execution, meeting production labor efficiency targets, preventative/predictive maintenance plan attainment, 5S scorecards, hazard closure rate, production cycle time versus takt time, and FPY, among others.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n8+ years of manufacturing engineering, production engineering, industrialization, or manufacturing support experience in a technical manufacturing environment.\n3+ years of engineering leadership, supervisory, or project leadership experience.\nDemonstrated success leading manufacturing process improvements, production support, and industrialization efforts.\nExperience managing cross-functional projects involving safety, engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain organizations.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, process validation, industrialization, design for manufacturability (DFM), and design for assembly (DFA).\nExperience with manufacturing test systems, automation equipment, production software, and engineering change management processes.\nWorking knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving methodologies.\nExperience with manufacturing automation, vision systems, smart tooling, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in power electronics, industrial electronics, battery charging systems, power conversion equipment, or related industries.\nExperience with manufacturing software development, automated test systems, and data acquisition platforms.\nExperience using ERP systems such as SyteLine for BOM management, item masters, engineering changes, and manufacturing planning.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.\nExperience managing capital equipment projects and departmental budgets.\nLocation: Longmont, CO\nBase Compensation: $116,000 - $164,000 is the projected annual base salary range for this role and will be determined on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.\nBonus:This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.\nClosing Date: October 10th.
