This position is responsible for driving operational excellence through effective team development, cross-functional coordination, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics manufacturing, a passion for lean methodologies, and a proven track record of leading high-performing team.\n2nd Shift: Mon-Thu 3:30pm - 1:00am and Fri 1:00pm - 5:00pm\nResponsibilities\nOversee daily production operations to meet schedule, throughput, and delivery targets for all aspects of production activities, including assembly, testing, material delivery, and personnel management.\nAssign work priorities, coordinate staffing levels, and balance workloads across departments, conducting daily production huddles to communicate, address challenges, and reinforce organizational goals.\nMonitor production metrics (yield, scrap, cycle time, throughput) and take corrective action as needed.\nMaintain strong presence on the production floor to coach, support, and guide employees, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning among production team members.\nIdentify weaknesses in existing workflows, documentation, and standards; lead initiatives to strengthen foundational processes.\nImplement lean manufacturing tools (5S, standard work, visual controls, root-cause analysis, etc.).\nCollaborate with production engineering and leadership teams to improve process flow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.\nStandardize and document operating procedures to ensure consistency and scalability.\nEnsure all products meet or exceed quality standards and customer specifications, implementing preventative measures to reduce defects, rework, and variability in processes.\nPartner with quality and engineering teams to resolve nonconformances and drive corrective actions.\nReinforce quality culture through employee training, audits, and daily reinforcement.\nEnforce all company safety policies and ensure a safe work environment at all times.\nLead safety training, conduct regular audits, and proactively address hazards.\nFoster a culture of safety ownership where employees actively participate in safe work practices.\nStrengthen employee skills through structured cross-training and competency development.\nLead onboarding efforts for new hires, ensuring consistent understanding of processes and expectations.\nConduct regular performance coaching and support employees in meeting development goals.\nPromote an inclusive and collaborative work environment where employees feel valued and engaged.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Supervisor, Team Lead, etc).\nProven success in improving production processes, reducing waste, and boosting operational efficiency.\nStrong understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience in fast-growing, scaling environments with evolving operational frameworks.\nExcellent communication skills with ability to coach, train, and motivate diverse teams.\nStrong problem-solving skills and comfort with root-cause analysis tools.\nAbility to balance short-term production demands with long-term process development initiatives.\nPreferred Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Supervisor, Team Lead, etc).\nExperience in mid-size manufacturing (25-150 employees) with rapid growth trajectories.\nBackground in building or rebuilding manufacturing fundamentals (standard work, training systems, KPIs).\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.\nCertifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience in low-volume, high-mix production settings.\nLocation: This position is located on-site in Longmont, CO.\nBase Compensation: $82,000 - $115,000 is the projected range of annual base salary for this role depending on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.\nBonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.\nClosing Date: October 15th.
