For more information on our company please see our web site at www.sens-usa.com.\nView the SENS Product Catalog\nSummary\nSENS is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to develop automated tests in C# for SENS hardware. You will work alongside experienced engineers to verify product functionality, expand repeatable test coverage, and help identify hardware and firmware issues in our battery chargers, DC power systems, and related products.\nResponsibilities\nWrite, debug, and maintain C# automated tests within the SENS test framework for hardware and firmware verification.\nWork with engineers to turn product requirements and test procedures into repeatable tests with clear pass/fail criteria.\nDevelop test code that communicates with SENS hardware and laboratory instruments to configure equipment, control test sequences, and collect measurements.\nRecord test results, measurements, and diagnostic information to support troubleshooting and test reports.\nRun automated tests, investigate failures, and work with electrical, firmware, and software engineers to reproduce and document issues.\nUse version control and code reviews to maintain readable, reusable test code and document test setup and operation.\nAssist with test fixtures and lab setup, following established electrical safety procedures and working under engineering supervision.\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\nProgramming experience through coursework or projects; familiarity with an object-oriented programming language is preferred.\nInterest in testing physical hardware and learning basic electrical measurements, device communication, and troubleshooting.\nCareful attention to detail, a methodical approach to problem solving, and the ability to communicate clearly and work with other engineers.\nAvailable to work 10-20 hours per week during the school year.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with .NET, C#, Visual Studio, Git, automated testing, or lab instruments.\nFamiliarity with CAN, serial, USB, or Ethernet communication.\nObject-oriented analysis and design.\nClosing Date: November 2nd.
