Maintains (through preventative maintenance) repairs and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical systems for production equipment.\nEssential Functions/Responsibilities\nPerforms hands-on maintenance tasks according to set production maintenance priorities, including repairing and troubleshooting of all equipment and support systems for the facility. Also, assists with the repair and maintenance of the physical structure.\nSupervises maintenance contractors, when required.\nMaintains a Maintenance Action Log, by a piece of equipment, in order to track individual repairs, and serve as a baseline for future preventive maintenance.\nParticipates in startup and shutdown activities, as required. Assists with Shutdown Task planning and scheduling.\nWorks with vendors / OEM to obtain parts pricing and repair recommendations for process equipment and systems.\nIncorporates safe practices while completing assigned maintenance work order activities.\nMaintains the Maintenance Department work area. Cleans-up after each task, and on a daily basis, performs care for tools and proper storage of supplies.\nComplies with all Company, Local, State, and Federal rules and regulations in regard to Health, Safety, and the Environment.\nOther duties may be assigned or current duties modified/changed.\nRequirements\nRequirements\nAssociates degree in a technical discipline or a minimum of 5 years in Industrial Maintenance in a manufacturing setting. Electrical preferred.\nExperience troubleshooting PLC’s, instrumentation, and other electronics.\nMust be willing to learn and attend training classes as defined by Management.\nPC literacy and proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\nWorking knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment and procedures.\nBasic Welding Skills a plus.\nFamiliarity with OSHA and Environmental Regulations.\nGood communication skills and ability to work a flexible working schedule including shift work.\nAbility to push, pull, bend, and/or lift up to 50 lbs.\nWork Authorization/Security Clearance\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without restriction\nAbout Us\nBrook & Whittle Ltd. is one of North America’s leading Sustainable Labeling Solutions providers, producing pressure sensitive, flexographic and shrink sleeve labels for many of the nation’s leading brands.
