In addition, will run the UTECO press as needed.\nPAY RATE: $35 +\nSHIFTS: 2nd (3pm - 11:30pm) and 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30am)\nEssential Functions:\nHire, train, and develop team members and hold them accountable.\nUphold B+W policies and procedures.\nBalance quality, productivity, cost, and safety to achieve all established goals.\nLead the production team to continuously improve operations performance.\nManage production performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to production / plant manager.\nCollaborate widely to optimize performance of entire B+W operation.\nPerform accident investigations.\nTrack absenteeism and timekeeping.\nMaintain security of the facility.\nReview job performance of team members and provide constructive feedback.\nCommunicate with other departments regarding job status and press schedule.\nPerform all essential job functions in accordance with company policies and safe operating procedures.\nParticipate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement events.\nServe as an example of what our company values most: innovation, respect, integrity, creativity and collaboration.\nWork together professionally in a team environment with co-workers and other department personnel.\nAssist in investigating root cause analysis & corrective actions for department as needed.\nUnderstands and supports all policies, procedures, instructions, rules, and regulations\nassociated with Brook & Whittle and the Pressroom Department.\nWill work directly with all press operators to ensure jobs are run to customer’s critical to quality requirements.\nRepresent operations during Customer Press Approvals.\nDevelop an understanding of lean manufacturing techniques to implement process improvements and optimal use of manufacturing resources.\nReviews Key Performance Indicators (Daily, Weekly and Monthly) to ensure area is on track to meet overall departmental objectives.\nPerform other related duties as required and assigned.\nSkills:\nLeadership and team member development.\nProcess and performance management.\nProblem solving.\nGoal achievement.\nCommunication and conflict management.\nTime Management.\nTechnical knowledge of labels.\nLean Manufacturing experience and knowledge\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.
