Key responsibilities include ensuring quality control, executing tasks as per specifications, and meeting production deadlines while maintaining a safe working environment. The job requires physical strength, attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, enjoyment of working with your hands and the ability to work in a noisy, time-sensitive environment. Screen Print operators can be trained. Advancement opportunities based on performance and attendance.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\nRead the job jacket to verify quantity to be run, overrun tolerance, color sequence, and substrate.\nObtains substrate, screen, ink, squeegee, and related supplies needed to produce job.\nSets up press according to established company guidelines, safety, and job requirements.\nPrints proof sheets to check press setup, registration, ink viscosity and color.\nSecures supervisor approval for production run.\nAdjust drying rack to sets dryer for proper drying or curing.\nPrints job maintaining optimum production speed and makes press adjustments to maintain print quality, registration, and color.\nTroubleshoots and solves printing problems.\nPrints line and halftone copy on a variety of substrates.\nCompletes production run including overruns and production samples.\nCompletes production records.\nWhen job is completed, move job to completed hold area.\nAt the end of the shift the operator cleans area and informs supervisor of any mechanical, material or in problems that caused issues during the day.\nFollow all safety protocols for running the machine safely.\nDaily and timely attendance is required unless approved by supervisor.\nOther duties as assigned.\nJob Requirements\nMust be able to lift / push / pull up to 20lbs unassisted (or more occasionally).\nMust be able to stand for the majority of shift - 2 hour increments.\nShort distance walking required with rolls to be placed on shipping table.\nMust be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp and reach frequently.\nMust be able to differentiate between color variance.\nAbility to work well with others.\nMust be able to perform well under deadline constraints and meet quality standards.\nMust be detail oriented and have excellent, quality driven work habits.\nWillingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and if needed, holidays and weekends.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.\nEducation and Experience\nHS Diploma or GED required.\nMust be able to pass drug screen and background check.\nPhysical Requirements & Environmental Conditions\nManufacturing environment - exposure to some hazardous conditions but not limited to dust, dirt, high noise levels, chemicals, etc. Safety regulations in place following OSHA guidelines.\nPhysical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
