They will partner with business stakeholders to understand and define scope, develop project plans, hold project team members accountable for work quality and timeliness, manage system testing activities, coordinate training efforts to support adoption, and ensure stakeholders and steering committees are frequently updated on project status, risks, issues, and milestones.\nEssential Functions:\nWork closely with business teams, acting as partner to help them gain desired outcomes from projects.\nDrive project teams to be as effective and efficient as possible, push for achievable but still aggressive timelines.\nCreate and update project plans and documentation and hold team members accountable for timeline and functionality\ncommitments.\nRegularly send professional and detailed project updates to project stakeholders.\nSchedule and lead project update meetings with stakeholders and project team members.\nCoordinate various meetings with cross functional team members to define scope of projects.\nTightly control project scope and ensure scope changes follow agreed upon approval processes.\nImplement best-practices to optimize delivery performance.\nEnsure project teams exemplify a culture of teamwork, partnership, and shared accountability\nKeep project meetings and discussions on-topic and on-track to ensure they are efficient and effective.\nManage testing activities for systems and applications, including planning, coordination, execution tracking, and issue resolution.\nAuthor, implement, and manage training plans and activities to support successful adoption of new or enhanced systems.\nPersonally participate in testing new systems, in order to understand system functionality as well as better support business testers of the new system.\nPresent project status, risks, issues, and milestones to executive steering committees on a regular basis.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\n\n 5+ years of full-time experience managing technical projects ideally for a multi-site enterprise\nBachelor’s degree in Business or Project Management preferred; equivalent combination of related experience and demonstrated project/program delivery capabilities will be considered in lieu of a degree.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus\nExperience managing system testing plans for new systems or upgrades.\nAbility to work a hybrid on-site schedule, typically 3 days per week in the New Century, KS office.\n• Ability to occasionally travel (\nSkills:\nAbility to effectively hold others accountable to commitments and deadlines without direct reporting authority\nStrong planning skills and ability to create and maintain project plans\nHigh attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking capabilities\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills\nComfortable with a variety of project management styles (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)\nAbility to act as a bridge between technical team members and business stakeholders\nDriver of continuous improvement\nComfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects/items simultaneously\nAbility to leverage AI tools (CoPilot, Claude, etc.) to streamline administrative tasks and reduce time required to complete routine project management activities\nAbout Us:\nBrook & Whittle Ltd. is one of North America’s leading Sustainable Labeling Solutions providers, producing pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and flexible packaging for many of the nation’s leading brands.
