It's exciting times to be at Stow!\nLocation: Romeoville, IL or Adairsville, GA\n Purpose of the Position\nThe Finance Manager oversees accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple U.S. legal entities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, project profitability, and compliance with Group policies and U.S. regulations.\nThe position works closely with U.S. leadership and European headquarters to support financial planning, business performance, and strategic decision-making.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee full-cycle accounting, monthly financial close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting for both stow’s sales & manufacturing entities, in close collaboration with local sales & plant management;\nManage project-based accounting, including Percentage of Completion (POC), revenue recognition, project costs, and profitability.\nOversee accounting and reporting across multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.\nEnsure compliance with applicable U.S. tax requirements, including sales and use tax.\nManage treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, liquidity, payments, and working capital.\nLead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.\nPrepare financial reports and KPIs and provide insights to support management decisions.\nMaintain internal controls and ensure compliance with Group policies and local regulations.\nCollaborate with U.S. leadership and European headquarters on financial performance and reporting.\nIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and operational efficiency.\n Required Experience & Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nExperience in financial management, accounting, and financial reporting.\nExperience with Percentage of Completion (POC) / Project-Based Accounting.\nExperience managing multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions.\nStrong knowledge of financial close, multi state tax compliance, treasury management, and cash flow forecasting.\nExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.\nERP experience; SAP R/3 preferred.\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience in a (start-up) manufacturing environment is required\nKey Stakeholders\nThe Finance Manager will report to the Group Finance Director in Global Headquarters, and will have a dotted line to the Managing Director, while managing direct and indirect reports/shared services.\n What do we offer you?\nPTO, sick leave, & paid holidays\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance\nCompany paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance\nCompany Paid Life Insurance\nCompany Paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401K with employer match, currently 4%\nPartial Tuition Reimbursement after 12 months\nGross Salary\nQuality, Safety, Health, Environment, Compliance\nEvery employee at stow contributes to a safe and compliant work environment.
