It’s exciting times to be at stow!\nLocation:\nAdairsville, GA, United States\n As Operational Buyer you will make sure relations with suppliers are good and all needed items for production (steel, painting powder...) and needed items for customer deliveries (footplates, protectors, rowspacers...) are ordered/called off on time. You will follow-up on deliveries with suppliers to confirm items are delivered on time.\nConfirm and manage stock levels of raw materials and material requirements for production, and call off materials in time\nOrder purchased goods in-line with category strategies while selecting vendors within outlined available pricing\nManage outstanding purchase orders to update delivery dates as demand requires\nConvert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and follow up delivery of orders according to requested delivery date\nManage daily relationship between the factory and its suppliers\nProvide input on supplier performance (delivery, quality, …) to central category managers for regular supplier evaluation\nSolve potential invoice blocks due to quantity or price discrepancies\n 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management and/or Purchasing\nAbility to analyze numerical data to identify trends, generate actionable insights and support evidence-based decision making\nAbility to act in a fast-moving environment\nProven experience contributing to process improvement\nSoftware expertise with SAP or similar business intelligence
