It’s exciting times to be at stow!\nLocation: Adairsville, GA\n Responsible for operating and overseeing the automated paint line and conventional over for the painting of structural steel beams. Ensures proper coating application, equipment functionality, and quality control throughout the painting and baking process.\nOperates automated paint line machines, ovens and baths and pumps \nCalibrates high-voltage settings on electrostatic paint guns to maximize transfer efficiency and minimize overspray\nSets and monitors conventional oven temperatures and bake times according to the specific technical data sheets (TDS) of the paint being used\nKnowledge and awareness of ATEX zoning limits (Zone 1 internal spray volumes, Zone 2 surrounding parameters) to prevent flammable gas or dust buildup\nResponsible for running the PH degreasing bath equipment \nMonitors and maintains the chemical balance of liquid baths using bath controls, pH tablets, and titration products\nConduct quality inspections using Elcometer instruments to test and verify paints, powders, and protective coatings meet required specifications\nMaintain cleanliness of paint areas, tools, and all equipment\n Education:\nHigh school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.\nExperience:\n1+ years industrial painting experience required\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications and blueprints\nAbility to read tape measures, and do basic math, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions\nDetail oriented, good problem-solving and team player\nPhysical stamina; frequently required to stand; walk; reach above shoulders, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; work in confined or enclosed spaces; work at elevated heights \n What do we offer you?\nPTO, days paid sick leave, 11 US paid holidays\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance\nCompany paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance\nCompany Paid Life Insurance\nCompany Paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401K with employer match, currently 4%\nPartial Tuition Reimbursement after 12 months\nTobacco Free Campus\nQuality, Safety, Health, Environment, Compliance\nEvery employee at stow contributes to a safe and compliant work environment.
