It’s exciting times to be at stow!\nLocation: Adairsville, GA, United States\n Are you mechanically inclined and ready to work with high-tech machinery?\nWe’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Roll Forming Machine Operator to join our automated metal production team in Adairsville, GA. In this role, you'll operate advanced roll forming lines to manufacture metal profiles based on exact design specifications. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in precision, we want to hear from you!\nKey Responsibilities:\nOperate a fully automated roll forming line (uncoiler, straightener, punching press, roll former, cutting press).\nSet up and adjust machine settings based on production orders (via ERP/SAP).\nLoad and change coils in coordination with crane/bridge operators.\nPerform hourly and per-coil quality checks (length, thickness, perforations, etc.).\nHandle basic machine maintenance and package strapping (AGV handling included).\nFlag and quarantine defective products and report issues to the production supervisor.\nAct as the final quality checkpoint for galvanized (Galva) parts before shipment.\nParticipate in scheduled 5S audits and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.\nEquipment & Tools You’ll Work With:\nRoll forming line: uncoiler, straightener, punching & cutting presses\nAGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) systems for product transport\nERP systems (SAP) for tracking orders and entering production data\nMeasuring tools: calipers, gauges, rulers\nPPE: safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, earplugs, hard hats\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing or metal forming environment\nAbility to read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings and profiles\nBasic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)\nForklift certification (Clark 5T) is a plus\nStrong attention to detail and quality control\nWillingness to work in a noisy, industrial production setting\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\n Qualifications\nEducation:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Steel a related field preferred.\n\nExperience:Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on steel tasks\nBasic knowledge on safety rules\n\nTechnical Skills:Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\nExperience with electrical troubleshooting and repair.\nFamiliarity with fabrication tools and techniques.\n\nCertifications :Forklift and overhead crane operation certification a plus.\n\nSoft Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent communication skills.\n\n What do we offer you?\n11 US paid holidays\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance\nCompany paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance\nCompany Paid Life Insurance\nCompany Paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401K with employer match, currently 4%\nPartial Tuition Reimbursement after 12 months\nTobacco Free Campus\nQuality, Safety, Health, Environment, Compliance\nEvery employee at stow contributes to a safe and compliant work environment.
