This role involves tracking and collecting service reports, reviewing work orders for errors, and maintaining repair history records.\nKnowledge and Skill Requirements\nProficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.\nGood verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.\nKnowledge of equipment, supplies, and procedures necessary to perform duties.\nFamiliarity with “Dealer Business System” or similar systems.\nPreferred Qualification(s)\nPrevious experience as a Service Clerk or in a service-related role.\nStrong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.\nEducation Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (required).\nEssential Job Functions\nReview labor, mileage, and parts on work orders for accuracy.\nProcess service work orders, including opening, closing, and making changes.\nReview machine repair history for possible warranty coverage.\nProcess purchase orders and outside invoices promptly.\nMaintain field service work order history folders.\nEnsure service reports are written and corrected as needed.\nAnswer telephone promptly and professionally.\nPerform tasks accurately and efficiently, following directions.\nLeadership Responsibilities\nNone specified; primarily an individual contributor role supporting the Service Manager.\nPreferred Experience and Skills\nThree years of experience in a service-related role.\nExperience using word processing and spreadsheet software.\nAbility to work independently and follow established procedures.\nPhysical and Mental Requirements\nAbility to perform detailed reviews of work orders and reports.\nStrong focus and attention to detail to ensure error-free work.\nMental agility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\nWork Environment\nOffice setting with frequent interaction with service personnel and customers.\nRequires handling phone calls and administrative tasks in a professional manner.\nMost work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required.
