You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to implement software components, integrate algorithms into open architecture frameworks, and develop test infrastructure to validate system performance. This role emphasizes hands-on software development, open system integration, integrating software components across distributed architectures and with hardware platforms, and rigorous testing of real-time applications.\nWhat you will do:\nImplement software components for real-time sensor systems in C/C++\nIntegrate signal processing algorithms into open architecture software frameworks\nDevelop and execute integration tests and system-level validation tests\nDebug software issues in real-time, multi-threaded, and distributed systems\nWork with senior engineers to translate algorithm specifications into software implementations\nDevelop test scripts and automated testing infrastructure\nPerform hands-on lab work with signal processing hardware and test equipment\nDocument software designs, test procedures, results, and technical reports\nSupport system demonstrations and field testing activities\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to software quality improvements\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including algorithm developers, systems engineers, and integration staff\nSupport approximately 20% travel for integration events, field testing, and customer demonstrations\nWho you are:\nActive clearance at the Secret level with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is a government requirement\nBS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience depending on degree (BS +5 years, MS +3 years, PhD +1 year)\nExperienced in software development (internships and academic projects count)\nStrong proficiency in C/C++ programming\nExperience with version control systems (Git)\nExperience with Linux\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills\nStrong willingness to learn signal processing and real-time embedded systems\nEven Better:\nActive Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nProficiency in Python or MATLAB\nExperience with hands-on hardware testing and lab equipment\nCoursework or experience in signal processing\nExperience with real-time or embedded software development\nKnowledge of multithreaded programming and synchronization\nUnderstanding of open architecture principles and standards\nJoin us and be part of a team that's making an impact at the forefront of technology and innovation.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $134,000 - $184,000\nThe salary range listed is based on external market data.
