The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction activities, ensuring that works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the contract, programme, technical specifications and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate construction activities for major dams, Tailings Storage Facilities (TSF) and hydraulic infrastructure projects.\nManage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, plant and construction resources. Plan and coordinate earthworks, embankments, staged TSF raises, liner systems, drainage systems, filter and transition zones, concrete structures, foundations, grouting and associated hydraulic works. Manage interfaces between earthworks, geotechnical works, HDPE/geosynthetic installations, drainage and water-management systems.\nMonitor construction progress against the approved programme and implement corrective measures where required. Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Engineering, Commercial, Planning, QA/QC and HSE teams. Review construction methods, temporary works requirements, work sequences and resource planning.\nEnsure strict compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, QA/QC requirements and project-specific dam and TSF safety requirements. Interface with the Employer, Engineer/Consultant, designers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders. Identify construction risks, technical constraints and potential delays at an early stage and support the development of practical mitigation measures.\nSupport contractual and commercial matters through accurate site records, progress information and timely identification of changes or additional works.
