at www.stradaglobal.com\nRole\nResponsible for supporting the German payroll country solution and using your functional and technical expertise, together with country-specific knowledge, to support the operational teams and ensure they are skilled and knowledgeable in meeting client deadlines.\nThe successful candidate will act as the German Payroll Subject Matter Expert, supporting a large delivery team of approximately 15 team members, driving payroll excellence, supporting implementations, legislative compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis is a fully remote position and can be based in either Spain or Poland.\nMain Responsibilities\nDelivery Key responsibilities:\nSupport Managers with client engagement, ensuring all information is accurate and provided on time.\nSupport the Sales process to ensure scope of service is feasible and highlight any concerns immediately to the Senior Operations Manager.\nProvide support and guidance for all implementations and go lives, whilst ensuring automation and standards are utilized.\nLead projects designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.\nProvide daily functional support to the teams, to support the successful delivery of German payrolls.\nAct as a functional expert and escalation point for German payroll-related questions, issues and client requirements.\nResponsible for the maintenance of the Country Solution workbook.\nResponsible for the management of the legislation roadmap and ensuring the team are upskilled in upcoming changes and processes are updated where needed.\nResponsible for the resolution of Technical/Functional issues escalated from the team and ensuring all system issues/defects are reported correctly and tickets are logged with the necessary details and evidence so Application Services and/or Products can investigate.\nWorking with Operational Management, Transformation and Products to implement automation, innovation and continuous improvement programmes.\nResponsible for Year End activities to ensure deadlines are met successfully.\nProactively identify upsell opportunities.\nSupport Management with the resolution of client escalations, along with lessons learnt.\nUpskill and develop team members through training delivery and coaching to enable them to fulfil their role.\nStrada Security Standards are adhered to and followed.\nAbility to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.\nTime Recording to be completed on time and accurately.\nContribute to team meetings and raise any issues immediately to your Operations Manager.\nEnsure you are up to date with all Strada announcements and communications.\nBuild good relationships with all lines of business.\nParticipate in to effectively communicate with all levels within the business\nDesired Experience\nProfessional / Job Experience\nStrong knowledge of the various inputs and outputs such as third-party interfaces, timekeeping, tax filing/compliance, benefits and other key areas that integrate with payroll.\nExpert knowledge of German payroll processes, practices and associated legislation.\nStrong experience supporting payroll operations, client engagements, implementations and payroll transformations.\nAbility to identify and mitigate risks.\nStrong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nFlexibility to support a global and fast-paced environment.\nAttention to detail.\nExcellent written and verbal skills.\nSelf-motivated and a willingness to learn.\nAbility to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures.\n Fluent German and English language skills (mandatory).\n Hands-on SAP Payroll experience (mandatory).\nExperience supporting, coaching and guiding payroll delivery teams\nTraining/Education\nBA/BS in a business-related field such as Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education & experience.\n5-8 years relevant experience administering Payroll in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment.\nExpert knowledge of payroll processes, practices and associated legislation.\nDesirable / Nice to have\nHRIS knowledge: Workday or PeopleSoft knowledge preferred.\nExperience with EuHReka preferred.\nExperience with Exchange preferred.\nPayroll certifications, PDL, VPS.\nExperience managing small-medium scale projects.\nExperience supporting geographically dispersed and remote teams.\nAt Strada, our values guide
