The role performs research for complex incidents and system defects, identifies root causes and trends, and develops resolutions using standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices. Working across client teams, internal domains, and third-party providers, the Analyst supports accurate data processing, compliance with client-specific requirements, and consistent delivery within required deadlines. The position also improves processes and supports reporting, acceptance testing, documentation, and training for ongoing global support.\nCore Accountabilities\nundefined\n\nPayroll Processing and Data Accuracy\n\nExecute assigned payroll activities accurately and within required deadlines.\n\nReview payroll inputs, outputs, interfaces, and processing results to identify and resolve discrepancies.\n\nValidate that payroll updates are accurately captured in accordance with established procedures.\n\nCoordinate with internal and global delivery teams to support accurate end-to-end payroll processing.\n\nIssue Resolution and Root Cause Analysis\n\nResearch payroll questions, processing issues, incidents, and system defects.\n\nAnalyze facts and identify root causes, recurring trends, and upstream or downstream impacts.\n\nDevelop and implement appropriate resolutions or recommendations.\n\nResolve issues within required timelines and escalate risks or process non-compliance when appropriate.\n\nClient and Partner Collaboration\n\nServe as a payroll subject matter expert for assigned areas of responsibility.\n\nConsult with clients regarding payroll requirements, questions, and operational issues.\n\nCoordinate across internal teams, client contacts, and third-party providers to support seamless payroll delivery.\n\nProvide oversight, support and feedback for global sourced tasks\n\nCommunicate issues, dependencies, and required actions effectively.\n\nQuality Assurance and Audit Compliance\n\nPerform payroll quality reviews, including SOC1 control compliance and peer audits of manual processing activities.\n\nFollow established SOPs, controls, and client-specific requirements.\n\nSupport internal and external audit requirements.\n\nIdentify potential processing or service-delivery risks and escalate them appropriately.\n\nProcess Improvement, Documentation, and Training\n\nIdentify payroll process gaps and opportunities for improvement.\n\nMaintain accurate SOPs, process documentation, and supporting materials.\n\nSupport implementation of improvements to payroll processes and methodologies.\n\nDevelop training materials for global teams involved in ongoing payroll delivery.\n\nReporting and Acceptance Testing\n\nRun and review payroll reports and queries to validate results and support operational requirements.\n\nSupport acceptance testing related to payroll changes, enhancements, and system updates applying an understanding of project methodology and the system life cycle.\n\nIdentify defects or unexpected results and support resolution.\n\nProvide operational input into payroll-related changes where required.\n\nAt Strada, our values guide everything we do:\n\nAnticipate Customer Needs – We stay ahead of trends so our customers can grow and succeed.\n\nOwn the Outcome – We take responsibility for delivering excellence and ensuring things get done right.\n\nChallenge Ourselves to Work Smarter – We move faster than the world around us to drive change and accomplish more.\n\nEmpower Each Other to Solve Problems – We tackle challenges head on, ask tough questions, and collaborate to find the best solutions.\n\nCare About Our Work and Our People – We understand that what we do impacts millions, and we have a responsibility to get it right.\n\nBenefitsAt Strada, we support your whole self—offering a range of benefits for your health, wellbeing, finances, and future.
