Read on.\nEssential Responsibilities include but not limited to:\nAnalyzes problems from a systems perspective, isolates to hardware or software issue and carries through to resolution.\nProvides IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications / Azure / Office 365, as well as virtual environments built on Hyper-V\nSupport services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Azure, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.\nImplement and support disaster recovery solutions.\nTechnical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.\nRemote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Remote Desktop / Terminal Services, and Azure Virtual Desktop.\nSystem documentation to include system reviews and recommendations.\nTravels to customer sites to perform work when appropriate (company vehicle provided).\nMaintains familiarity with industry best practices.\nCommunicate effectively with customers and the Service Team \nActively participates in team and company meetings.\nInstall, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools\nProactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability\nMonitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes\nMaintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies\nProvide 2nd and 3rd level support\nRequirements\nBS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject, or a combination of 5+ years of experience and recent equivalent training (college graduate, technical school graduate or similar\nExtensive knowledge of all aspects of PC operations and functions\nExperience with monitoring systems and automation software\nExperience with the following technologies:\nSophos or Meraki Firewall\nO365 and M365\nAzure Virtual Desktop or Terminal Services
