Outreach We share the results of our successes with the community.\nStrata-G is seeking an experienced Software Engineerwith the following:\nJob Duties:\nWork from detailed programming specifications to design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications.\nParticipate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.\nSupport and/or install software applications and operating systems.\nManage installation and configuration of more complex third-party applications.\nProvide resolution to a fundamental problem or seize an opportunity that improves the satisfaction of a customer, user, or provider.\nExplain the financial impact of a solution or a decision to assist customers in complying with budget requirements.\nMay assume ownership of a specific application. Ownership includes operational leadership, strategic leadership, responsibility for creating and defending software design, technical leadership within a task or project that changes the software, and interface with IT, vendor, consultant, subcontractor, and customer management.\nMay provide guidance to less experienced Software Engineers.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nMinimum of 5 years of related experience.\nKnowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the area of specialization.\nUnderstanding of network protocols and application deployment across environments.\nProficient with PC-based applications such as MS Office and appropriate programming tools such as C++, C#, Visual Basic, ASP, Java, PL/SQL, and Web 2.0.\nAbility to diagnose and resolve fundamental technical issues.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.\nJob Type:Full-Time\nJob Location:Richland, WA.\nStrata-G will not sponsor applicants for immigrant or non-immigrant work visas.
