This role oversees production schedules, manages workforce planning, ensures compliance with company policies, and develops team members to support efficient and safe operations.\nWhat you will be doing:\nUnderstand Stratasys goals and manufacturing strategies to execute the production schedule in assigned production areas to meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly goals\nEnsure production procedures and policies are followed and quality standards are maintained\nFoster good communication and teamwork within production and with other departments\nWork with the organization to improve processes and efficiencies and reduce scrap/rework\nDrive and lead participation in continuous improvement activities\nDevelop schedules and manpower requirements for production cells\nEnsure execution of daily Tier 1 meetings to include preparation of data in advance and clear communication and escalation to Tier 2 meetings\nParticipate in budgeting and planning activities on assigned production lines\nUpdate management and other departments of any issues or risks to production plan, identify alternatives, and make plans or recommendations for mitigation\nParticipate in budgeting and planning activities on assigned production lines\nEnsure execution of production lines including workflow, people and resources\nEnsure policies and procedures are understood by the team and address any issues in a timely manner to drive an engaged and productive team\nDevelops work team and leads to meet the goals of the operations strategy using Stratasys leadership tools\nEnsure production teams have all the tools and resources needed to complete their work\nAnalyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in solving work problems\nStaffing the production cells based on schedules and line capacities to include hiring staff, development of people, and onboarding\nDrive and maintain a training system to ensure production personnel are properly performing the tasks they are assigned per quality standards\nEnsure production team follows all established safety procedures and systems\nIdentify, report and take appropriate action regarding safety issues. Develop recommendations for solutions and improvements with Stratasys EH&S team\nMay lead or have active role on the safety committee\nEnsure production team produces products that meets quality specifications and partner with the Stratasys Quality team to ensure customer satisfaction \nIdentify and communicate quality issues and make recommendations for action and improvements\nEnsure production team is trained and follows all written work instructions and policies\nLead improvements through lean manufacturing principles\nEnsure timely and accurate completion of employee timecards, time off, and expense approvals\nDemonstrates commitment to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting and behaving in a manner consistent with these values.\nOther responsibilities as assigned by the department leadership\nMust have for this role:\n2+ years in a leadership role with demonstrated ability to work with others\n1+ years of experience with lean manufacturing methods (e.g., 5S, Demand Flow, Six Sigma)\nExperience in a multi-shift production environment\nExcellent technical writing and verbal communication skills required. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
