This role is responsible for analyzing transportation performance, maintaining carrier and third-party logistics (3PL) scorecards, supporting freight audit and payment activities, tracking logistics costs and savings initiatives, and providing operational and analytical support for transportation projects.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with transportation and logistics knowledge and enjoys identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service performance across the supply chain.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:\nFreight Administration & Financial Reporting\nSupport Freight Audit & Pay processes and research invoice discrepancies and coding exceptions.\nPrepare freight spend reporting, accrual support, forecasts, variance analyses, and savings tracking reports.\nMaintain invoice aging reports and coordinate issue resolution with logistics providers and internal stakeholders.\nAssist with freight recovery activities and reporting.\nMonitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for optimization.\nTransportation Analytics & Performance Reporting\nDevelop and maintain transportation dashboards, KPIs, carrier performance scorecards, and 3PL reporting.\nAnalyze shipment, carrier, lane, mode, customer, and accessorial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.\nSupport carrier reviews and quarterly business reviews through data collection and reporting.\nMonitor transportation service levels, claims activity, and cost performance metrics.\nProvide data-driven recommendations to improve logistics performance.\nProjects, Systems & Process Improvement\nSupport transportation-related projects, including carrier transitions, sourcing events, system enhancements, and logistics initiatives.\nMaintain project documentation, SOPs, process maps, and testing documentation.\nAssist with transportation exception management and provide coverage for critical logistics processes.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve transportation and logistics issues.\nRecommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness.\nBasic Qualifications\nAssociate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, freight audit and payment, or a related analytical role.\nExperience reviewing freight invoices, transportation data, carrier performance metrics, or logistics reporting.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be Export Control Compliant (ITAR).\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline.\nExperience in a manufacturing, distribution, or third-party logistics environment.\nExperience with carrier scorecards, claims management, freight recovery programs, or transportation sourcing initiatives.\nExperience working with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems, or logistics analytics tools.\nKnowledge of parcel, LTL, truckload, air, and ocean transportation operations.\nExperience supporting continuous improvement or cost-reduction initiatives.\nTravel Required\nUp to 10% travel.\nWe believe our people are the heart of our success.
