Strategic Analytix is a privately held minority owned, small-business headquarter in Fulton, MD just outside of Baltimore and Washington D.C.\n About the role\nJob Description\nStrategic Analytix is looking for a skilled and experienced Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE). This employee will perform a wide range of duties regarding the security maintenance and design of systems within the customer space. The ISSE will perform technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerability and recommend mitigation strategies. They will validate system security requirements definitions and analysis. Design, develop, implement and/or integrate Cybersecurity and\nsecurity systems and system components and assist architects and systems developers in implementation of appropriate information security functionality. Perform risk analysis and management, recommending solutions when necessary.\nWhat you'll do\n Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) RequirementsParticipate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.\nApply knowledge of Cybersecurity policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.\nInteract with the customer and other project team members.\nParticipate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of Cybersecurity architectures, systems, or system components.\nSupport the Government in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.\nSupport security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.\nIdentify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data.\nProvide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.\nPerform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements.\nRecommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements.\n\nQualifications\nClearance LevelTS/SCI level clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.\n\nSkill Level 2\nExperience: Twelve (12) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity to include recent experience within the last five (5) years with Cybersecurity principles and technology, including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, PKI, network and enterprise security architecture is required.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, four (4) additional years of ISSE experience may be substituted.DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required.\nSkill Level 3\nExperience: Twenty (20) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity to include recent experience within the last five (5) years with Cybersecurity principles and technology, including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, PKI, network and enterprise security architecture is required.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to eighteen (18) years of experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, four (4) additional years of ISSE experience may be substituted. DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3 is required.
