This role serves as a technical leader within a single-stack platform organization and focuses on enabling business capabilities through scalable cloud-native solutions, reusable ingestion services, metadata management, AI-enablement, and operational excellence.\nThe Solution Engineer will collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that support ingestion, storage, governance, annotation, analytics, and AI-driven use cases.\nThis role supports the long-term vision of establishing a reusable enterprise platform that can manage and operationalize unstructured data including imagery, documents, LiDAR, sensor data, video, inspection records, and AI-generated metadata.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nPlatform Architecture & Solution Design\nDesign scalable cloud-native solutions supporting enterprise unstructured data workloads.\nDefine reference architectures, patterns, and standards for platform capabilities.\nDevelop technology roadmaps aligned to business and platform strategy.\nEnsure solutions meet security, reliability, scalability, and operational requirements.\nTranslate business requirements into technical solution designs.\nData Ingestion & Integratio\nPlatform & Cloud Engineering\n* Build and support cloud-based platform services.\n* Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.\n* Develop automation for deployment, provisioning, and platform operations.\n* Support monitoring, observability, operational health, and performance optimization.\n* Participate in platform support and incident response activities.\nMetadata & Governance Enablement\nDesign metadata structures and data discovery capabilities.\nSupport implementation of:\nMetadata catalogs\nData lineage\nSearch and discovery\nData classification\nRetention policies\nPartner with governance and security teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.\nAnnotation & AI Enablement\nIntegrate annotation and human-review services into platform workflows.\nSupport AI/ML lifecycle activities including:\nGround-truth data management\nDefect taxonomy management\nAI feedback capture\nModel output integration\nEnable AI metadata storage and retrieval patterns.\nHuman-in-the-Loop Workflows\nDesign workflows that combine automation and human review.\nSupport implementation of inspection and validation processes.\nEnable business users to review, correct, and enrich AI-generated results.\nEnsure traceability and auditability of user actions.\nDevSecOps & Automation\nImplement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.\nApply security controls throughout the platform lifecycle.\nAutomate testing, monitoring, and operational processes.\nSupport resiliency, backup, recovery, and operational readiness activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\n\nBachelor's degree in:\nComputer Science\nEngineering\nInformation Systems\nRelated technical discipline\nTechnical Experience\n* 5+ years of solution engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or cloud engineering experience.\n* Experience designing distributed cloud-native architectures.\n* Experience with API design and system integrations.\n* Experience working with enterprise data platforms.\n* Experience implementing automation and DevOps practices.\n* Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.\nCloud & Platform Experience\nExperience with one or more:\n* AWS\n* Azure\nGoogle Cloud Platform\nExperience
