Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced C# Server-Side Developer to join a Middle Office Engineering team supporting the development of mission-critical business applications. This role is ideal for a software engineer with a strong background in back-end development who enjoys building scalable, high-performance applications in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing server-side applications using C#, strong SQL skills, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code. This position offers the opportunity to work on business-critical systems while collaborating with a highly technical engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and services using C#.
• Build and support mission-critical business applications.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application issues.
• Work with SQL databases to support application functionality and performance.
• Utilize messaging technologies (MQ) as part of distributed application architectures.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Manage source code using Git or other version control systems.
• Work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience developing server-side/back-end applications using C#.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud providers is a plus
• Strong experience with SQL databases.
• Experience working with messaging technologies (MQ).
• Outstanding coding, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Experience using source/version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with software development best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
