The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing secure, scalable network solutions and implementing network security controls.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement enterprise network architecture, including LAN/WAN, routing and switching, wireless networks, and cloud networking.\n\nArchitect and support network infrastructure components, including IP address management (IPAM), DNS, site-to-site VPNs, ISP connectivity, and load balancing.\n\nDesign and implement forward and reverse proxies, network automation, and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.\n\nDevelop and implement network security controls, including Network Access Control (NAC), access control lists (ACLs), network segmentation, and intrusion detection systems.\n\nDesign secure network architectures incorporating DMZ configurations and zero-trust security principles.\n\nProvide architectural design and technical guidance for enterprise infrastructure projects.\n\nEnsure network architecture and security solutions comply with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.\n\nCollaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, reliable network solutions.\n\nManage multiple network architecture initiatives while maintaining project priorities and technical standards.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture, including enterprise network design and implementation.\n\nStrong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, and BGP.\n\nHands-on experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN infrastructure, routing, switching, and network security solutions.\n\nExperience implementing network security controls, including NAC, segmentation, intrusion detection, and access control policies.\n\nExperience designing and implementing network security solutions in critical infrastructure environments.\n\nKnowledge of DMZ architecture, network segmentation, and zero-trust security models.\n\nUnderstanding of applicable security and compliance standards, including NERC CIP, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and business stakeholders.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting electrical utilities, energy organizations, or other critical infrastructure industries.\n\nProfessional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP.\n\nFamiliarity with industry security frameworks, including IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.\n\nExperience with network automation, cloud networking, and hyperconverged infrastructure.\n\nWork Environment\nThis position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring four days onsite at the Lake Kathy Office in Brandon, Florida, with one day working
