Tester\nLocation: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid)\nDuration: 12 Month Contract\nKey Responsibilities:\nManual Test Planning & Execution\nReview business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs to determine appropriate test coverage.\nDevelop and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios.\nPerform functional, integration, system, end-to-end, regression, exploratory, and negative testing.\nValidate business rules, application behavior, data flows, and customer journeys.\nIdentify and prepare appropriate test data and test conditions.\nMaintain reusable manual regression test suites for assigned products.\nClearly communicate testing progress, results, risks, and release-readiness concerns.\nDefect Management\nIdentify, document, and track application defects through resolution.\nCreate clear defect documentation, including steps to reproduce, expected versus actual results, and supporting evidence.\nPartner with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and vendors to reproduce and troubleshoot defects.\nRetest resolved defects and perform appropriate regression testing.\nDistinguish application defects from requirements gaps, data issues, configuration issues, and expected system behavior.\nEnd-to-End Digital Testing\nManually validate complete customer and co-worker journeys across applicable digital channels.\nTest interactions and data flows across multiple applications and system integration points.\nValidate positive, negative, boundary, and exception scenarios rather than testing only the expected \"happy path.\"\nIdentify inconsistencies in functionality, business rules, content, navigation, or customer experience.\nValidate that changes to one area of a digital experience do not negatively affect existing functionality.\nAgile Product Delivery\nWork as an embedded member of an Agile product team.\nParticipate in refinement, planning, demonstrations, and other applicable team activities.\nReview requirements and acceptance criteria early to identify gaps, ambiguity, or scenarios requiring additional clarification.\nPartner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure requirements are clear and testable.\nCoordinate testing activities with development and release schedules.\nSupport production release validation and post-deployment testing.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of hands-on manual software testing or QA experience preferred.\nDemonstrated experience creating and executing manual test cases and test scenarios.\nExperience with functional, system, integration, end-to-end, regression, exploratory, and negative testing.\nExperience testing applications against business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nExperience documenting, tracking, retesting, and closing software defects.\nExperience working within an Agile/Scrum product delivery environment.\nHands on experience with Zephyr Scale, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify unexpected system behavior and edge cases.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently, manage testing priorities, and clearly communicate quality
