Title: Scrum Master\nLocation: Charlotte, NC\nDuration: 12 Months\nJob/Role Description:\nSupport a multi-year data transformation program focused on migrating an on-premises data warehouse environment to AWS.\nServe as a Lead Scrum Master supporting Agile Working Groups across business areas including Customer, Finance, Human Resources, and Enterprise Asset Management.\nWork with multiple and/or larger-scale teams to facilitate Agile-based processes and drive solutions across teams.\nPartner closely with other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, team members, and management in accordance with the Agile framework.\nEnsure Agile teams are fully functional and productive while helping shield teams from unnecessary external interruptions.\nApply a servant leadership approach to support team performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nIdentify and remove barriers and impediments preventing teams from completing work.\nPlan and organize Agile activities while developing and maintaining metrics that support sprint planning and sprint management.\nCapture and monitor team and project health metrics, including burn-down charts, velocity, and other relevant Agile metrics.\nMentor team members, promote Agile thinking, and encourage adherence to established Agile processes while recognizing when teams require flexibility.\nFacilitate estimation activities, including story points and Planning Poker.\nMaintain the product backlog and Scrum/task board in partnership with the team and Product Owner.\nEnsure the quality and integrity of Agile artifacts.\nCapture and track impediments, risks, and dependencies through resolution.\nUpdate team improvement backlogs with commitments identified during retrospectives.\nComplete and distribute team Commitment Reports and End-of-Sprint Reports based on sprint demonstrations and Product Owner acceptance.\nHelp teams balance Agile best practices with the practical needs of the organization and individual working groups.\nSupport teams working with data initiatives and use data and metrics to improve sprint planning, execution, and delivery.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.\n5+ years of experience with project management concepts and practices.\n3+ years of Scrum Master experience.\nCertified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.\nExperience supporting multiple and/or large-scale Agile teams.\nStrong experience with sprint planning, sprint management, backlog management, estimation, retrospectives, demonstrations, and other Scrum ceremonies.\nExperience developing and tracking Agile metrics such as velocity and burn-down charts.\nDemonstrated ability to identify and remove impediments, manage risks and dependencies, and support continuous improvement.\nStrong understanding of Agile and Scrum principles with the ability to adapt practices based on team and organizational needs.\nStrong planning, organizational, facilitation, and team leadership skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting data transformation, data warehouse, or similar data-focused initiatives.\nExperience working with Jira and using Jira data and metrics to support Agile planning and team performance.\nExperience supporting cloud or AWS data migration/transformation initiatives.\nExperience moving teams or organizations from Waterfall to Agile methodologies.\nExperience supporting Agile teams across multiple business or functional areas.\nExcellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.\nAbility to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.\nStrong presentation skills with the ability to deliver persuasive and informative
