Candidates must have a background in enterprise asset management, technical development, system integrations, data conversion, and code deployment.\nThe ideal candidate will have delivered multiple implementations and be able to explain technical design decisions, supported extension approaches, and strategies for minimizing technical debt during cloud updates and upgrades.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Development\nDesign, develop, and extend IFS Cloud using supported technical architecture and extension patterns.\n\nUtilize IFS Developer Studio, Custom Objects, configurations, and Projections.\n\nDevelop and maintain REST APIs, event frameworks, and integrations.\n\nWrite and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.\n\nCreate technical specifications, estimates, unit tests, and supporting documentation.\n\nUse Git-based source control and established development practices.\n\nTroubleshoot technical issues and perform performance analysis.\n\nIntegration, DevOps, and Deployment\nDevelop and support integrations using IFS Connect, REST APIs, middleware, and event-driven frameworks.\n\nManage code deployment, release processes, environment configurations, and promotion across environments.\n\nUtilize IFS Build Place and Build Place Delivery Management.\n\nAssess cloud update and upgrade impacts and support regression testing.\n\nSupport go-live, cutover, hypercare, and production operations.\n\nMaintain deployment records and technical documentation.\n\nData Conversion and Migration\nPerform data migration using IFS Data Migration, Migration Jobs/FNDMIG, and Migration Toolkit (MTK).\n\nExtract, map, transform, cleanse, and load legacy data.\n\nConduct mock conversions, data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling.\n\nSupport migration performance tuning, audit controls, and production cutover.\n\nLoad data through supported IFS business logic and APIs.\n\nEnterprise Asset and Work Management\nSupport Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and asset lifecycle management solutions.\n\nWork with asset hierarchies, equipment records, preventive maintenance, and work orders.\n\nSupport maintenance planning and scheduling, inventory, and procurement integrations.\n\nCollaborate with functional consultants, architects, data owners, integration teams, and operations.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong hands-on technical experience with enterprise asset and work management systems.\n\nMultiple hands-on IFS Cloud implementations with clear examples of individual technical delivery responsibility, or strong technical IBM Maximo experience with comparable development and deployment expertise.\n\nExperience with technical development, system integrations, and code deployment.\n\nExperience with source control, release management, and environment promotion.\n\nKnowledge of SQL/PLSQL, APIs, troubleshooting, and technical testing.\n\nAbility to produce technical designs, estimates, test evidence, deployment records, and knowledge-transfer materials.\n\nUnderstanding of supported customization and extension approaches and strategies for minimizing technical debt during upgrades.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with IFS Developer Studio, Projections, IFS Connect, REST APIs, and Build Place.\n\nExperience with IFS data migration tools, FNDMIG, or MTK.\n\nEnterprise Asset Management or asset lifecycle management experience.\n\nExperience in the utility industry.\n\nFamiliarity with Esri/GIS, IFS MWO/MWM, work management, maintenance planning, or financial and project integrations.\n\nExperience with cloud updates, regression testing, go-live, and production support.\n\nCandidate Screening Expectations\nCandidates should be prepared to discuss specific implementations and their personal contributions, including technical design choices, development and integration work, data migration, deployment responsibilities, testing evidence, and upgrade strategy.\nAdditional Opportunity: Potential for permanent conversion after approximately 18-24 months.
