This role will support automation strategy, build the framework from scratch, and train QA engineers to adopt automation best practices.\nThe ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with modern automation tools, CI/CD integration, and the ability to mentor teams transitioning from manual testing to automation.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAutomation Framework Development\nDesign and implement a scalable automation framework from scratch for both web and native mobile applications.\nEstablish coding standards, reusable components, and best practices for automation.\nImplement maintainable architecture patterns such as Page Object Model / Screen Object Model.\nEnsure automation frameworks are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain.\nWeb Automation\nDevelop automated UI tests using Playwright.\nImplement cross-browser testing and stable test execution strategies.\nEnsure automation coverage for critical regression and end-to-end scenarios.\nMobile Automation\nBuild automation for native iOS and Android apps using tools such as Appium or similar frameworks.\nIntegrate tests with device cloud platforms like BrowserStack.\nManage testing across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.\nCI/CD Integration (Nice to have)\nIntegrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).\nEnsure automated tests run on pull requests, nightly builds, and release pipelines.\nMaintain test stability and minimize flaky tests.\nTest Reporting & Quality Insights\nImplement reporting dashboards using tools such as Allure Report or similar reporting systems.\nProvide insights on test coverage, failure trends, and product quality metrics.\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.\n5+ years of experience building automation frameworks from scratch.\nStrong hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).\nStrong experience using Browser Stack for cross-browser and mobile testing (mandatory).\nExperience implementing web UI automation and end-to-end testing.\nHands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium.\nStrong programming experience in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python / Java.\nExperience in integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong understanding of automation design patterns and maintainable test architecture.\nExperience with Git workflows and automated testing on pull requests.\nNice to Have\nExperience with performance and load testing using tools such as k6 or Apache JMeter.\nExperience with API automation testing.\nExperience working with Agile / DevOps teams.\nExperience implementing test reporting dashboards and quality metrics.\n“Beware of scams.
