Be part of a team where performance, collaboration, and innovation come together to drive success.\nWe are actively seeking a Contract Abandonment Coordinator to join our Closure Team in Calgary. Reporting to the Team Lead, Closure, the Abandonment Coordinator will support the planning and field execution of abandonment activities, ensure accurate well file data gathering, assist in program development, and provide on-site coordination with service providers and internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on operational role with a strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and disciplined project management.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the Abandonment superintendent with the development and maintenance of long-term strategy and programs sequencing, budgeting, and implementation of well abandonments. \nGather, review, and validate historical well file data, including drilling, completions, workovers, and operational records. \nHelp prepare detailed programs, cost estimates and downhole schematics fore review and approval by the Abandonment Superintendent prior to execution of field work. \nPrepare documentation required for regulatory submissions and internal approvals. \nCoordinate with service rigs, wireline, cementing, downhole tool providers, and other vendors, as directed by the Abandonment Superintendent. \nProvide field coordination and oversight during abandonment operations. \nProvide technical and administrative support to the Abandonment Superintendent and the Closure team. \nWork with engineering, geology, regulatory and closure teams to keep scope, cost and schedule aligned. \nRequirements:\nBachelor of Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University. Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas disciplines and P/Eng.
