Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security.\nStratolaunch is seeking a hands-on a Maintenance Expeditor to help the aircraft maintenance team in the efficient execution of the work scope performed to the aircraft; maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspections, and alterations. This role demands a highly organized and proactive contributor with attention to detail, a commitment to support the maintenance team, and support our growing aerospace maintenance and flight-test operations. This role will support maintenance personnel in the achievement of shared team and company goals, with demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and credibility.\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe Expeditor is responsible for coordinating the parts, materials, tooling, equipment, maintenance kits, and work instructions required to support aircraft maintenance operations\nWork with Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Control, Materials, Procurement, Quality, Crew and Mechanics to ensure maintenance teams have the required, documentation and kitted parts available when needed.\nCoordinate with Maintenance control on availability of current and applicable maintenance work instructions, task cards, engineering instructions, drawings, and technical documentation.\nSupport preparation and organization of maintenance work packages.\nReview upcoming maintenance requirements and identify required parts, materials, consumables, and supplies.\nTrack parts from request through procurement, receiving, inspection, availability, and delivery to the maintenance team.\nMonitor shortages, backorders, delayed shipments, and other material constraints.\nCoordinate with Materials, Procurement, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to expedite critical requirements.\nSupport the preparation and staging of maintenance kits.\nVerify kits contain the required parts, quantities, consumables, tooling requirements, and applicable documentation.\nTrack kit status and communicate incomplete or delayed kits.\nCoordinate delivery of completed kits to the appropriate aircraft or maintenance work area.\nMaintain visibility of priority and long-lead material requirements.\nEscalate material issues that could affect maintenance or flight-test schedules.\nSupport urgent/AOG material requirements when necessary.\nVerify parts and materials are available prior to scheduled maintenance activities.\nCoordinate with Tool Control, Maintenance, Quality, and other support organizations to resolve tooling issues.\nMaintain flexibility and be able to adjust to the changing needs of the program and/or company which could be but not limited to OT when needed, flexible work schedule etc.\nDemonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity, and fulfillment of commitments\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n2+ years of experience in aviation, aerospace, aircraft maintenance, materials, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.\nStrong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nAbility to read and understand technical documentation, work instructions, drawings, and parts information.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.\nAbility to identify problems, establish priorities, and drive issues toward resolution.\nAbility to work effectively with mechanics, engineers, supervisors, suppliers, and leadership.\nThe ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who can manage multiple priorities, identify potential delays early, and aggressively follow issues through to resolution.\nProficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)\nMust be willing to work a flexible work schedule\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nAircraft maintenance, flight-test, or production experience.\nFamiliarity with aircraft parts, tooling, consumables, and maintenance processes.\nExperience with maintenance kitting, inventory systems and work-package preparation.\nFamiliarity with aircraft configuration control and controlled technical documentation.\nAviation or aerospace maintenance experience preferred.\nSpecial remarks regarding work environment, if applicable\nThis position is located in Mojave, CA. Shop, hangar, and flight-line work includes desert heat and cold, wind, dust, noise, exhaust, fuels, oils, and moving equipment.\nMust stand and walk for extended periods; bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, and work in restricted spaces; use tools and move items up to 50 pounds with lifting aids or team assistance as appropriate, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nMust use required PPE, communicate around operating equipment, and recognize gauges, indicators, markings, and hazards, with or without reasonable accommodation.\n4/10 schedule\n4-6 years experience: $31.00-$39.86\n6+ years experience: $34.60-$45.85\nBase salary and leveling are established on a case-by-case basis.
