Any applications without this project document will not be considered.\nWe are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineering Intern - Electrical to support electrical manufacturing processes, production equipment, and continuous-improvement projects. The intern will work with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to help troubleshoot issues, collect data, and improve manufacturing operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nData Collection & Management\nAssist with day-to-day support for electrical manufacturing and assembly processes.\nHelp troubleshoot basic electrical, wiring, test, and production-equipment issues under engineer supervision.\nSupport updates to work instructions, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and manufacturing documentation.\nCollect and analyze production, quality, scrap, rework, downtime, and test data.\nAssist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions for production or quality issues.\nParticipate in process-improvement projects involving safety, quality, throughput, and cost.\nSupport process trials, equipment validations, and new-product introduction activities.\nMaintain organized engineering files, reports, bills of materials, and project documentation.\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.\nBasic understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, schematics, and electrical test equipment.\nStrong problem-solving, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.\nComfortable using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.\nAble to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.\nComfortable working in both office and manufacturing-floor environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, or assembly drawings.\nFamiliarity with multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, continuity testing, or other electrical test equipment.\nExposure to manufacturing environments, Lean principles, 5S, or root-cause analysis.\nExperience with CAD/electrical-design software, ERP systems, or basic data-analysis tools is a plus.\nWhat You’ll Learn\nPractical electrical manufacturing-engineering methods and production-support practices.\nHow electrical assemblies are built, tested, documented, and improved.\nExperience with troubleshooting, process improvement, and quality problem solving.\nHow engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams collaborate in a manufacturing environment.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nSophomore, Junior, or Senior going to Graduate School working on an engineering degree\nSpecial remarks regarding work environment, if applicable\nThis position is located in Mojave, CA\nRelocation eligible to local area - Mojave, CA\nLiving accommodations provided in the Antelope Valley\n9/80 Schedule\n*Year = number of years completed (ex: year 3 means they have completed their junior year and are going into their senior year)Technical Interns\nYear 1-2: $33.00/hr\nYear 3-4: $38.00/hrntern #LI-Onsite\n\nBase salary and leveling are established on a case-by-case basis.
