Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security.\nJoin team of technicians building and maintaining propulsion systems for hypersonic flight vehicles, including, but not limited to, liquid and hybrid rocket engines\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nBuild and maintain fluid systems, including propellants, high pressure, and cryogenic systems\nWork alongside engineers to build, test, and maintain systems\nTroubleshoot and perform maintenance on fluid and gas systems, low and high pressure\nWork with engineers to build and maintain rocket engines and other propulsion related items.\nHands-on applications-oriented problem solver willing to work in the field\nWillingness to listen with intent to understand and process all inputs from other team members\nSincere dedication to SAFETY-FIRST, placing team health and well-being as highest priority followed by the preservation of vehicles and facilities.\nAbility to operate or learn to operate heavy machinery (Forklift, All-terrain Forklift, overhead equipment, etc.)\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nFluid SystemsSafely work with High Pressure Gas Systems\nRead & Understand Plumbing and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)\nExperience building and testing high pressure fluid/gas systems\nTube fitting & bending, familiar with common industry fittings systems.\n\nMechanicalMetal fabrication (Benchwork layout, GD&T, general shop equipment familiarity & general shop skills)\nSystems assembly (work from blueprints, manuals, or diagrams with minimal guidance)\n\nRocket Systems or Test experience preferred, but not requiredLiquid Oxygen (LOX) & Cryogenics handling and systems maintenance\nLOX Systems handling and cleaning/Clean Room experience preferred\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate\nAirframe & Powerplant License Preferred, but not required\nLevel I ($31.67-$45.92): High school diploma or equivalency certificate and 2-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, systems fabrication, installation\nLevel II ($38.51-$55.85): High school diploma or equivalency certificate and 5-10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, systems fabrication\n\nSpecial remarks regarding work environment, if applicable\nThis position is located in Mojave CA\nBase salary and leveling are established on a case-by-case basis.
