Other duties may be assigned.\nLead the global software development project team including technical leadership and program timing.\nDesign of the software architecture considering the product requirements, software re-use strategy, software maintainability, software development process and industry standards such as AUTOSAR, ASPICE, MISRA, CERT, UDS, EVITA, Functional Safety standard (ISO 26262), Cyber Security standard (ISO 21434, UN R155/156, CCC) and others.\nSoftware Embedded coding using the C and Assembly programming language adhering to industry and internal coding standards and practices.\nDevelop, document, review and approve software design specifications.\nAnalyze and de-bug software in embedded systems using proper instrumentation equipment.\nAble to integrate, compile, test and verify the entire software package on the target hardware\nAdhere to a rigorous software design and development process.\nActively lead/participate in software design peer reviews. \nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAlthough the position does not entail direct supervisory responsibilities, technical and project leadership skills are essential to lead the software project team.\nQualifications\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nMinimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field required with a strong preference for electrical/electronics and computer engineering. \nFive or more years of experience in electronics/embedded software design/development, testing or in a related field with a preference in automotive embedded systems. \nProficiency with electronics, reading schematics and software testing tools.\nUnderstanding of ASPICE standards and their practical applications preferred.\nProficiency with an Application Lifecycle Management tool such as PTC Integrity/CodeBeamer is preferred.\nAUTOSAR implementation knowledge and experience required.\nWired Communications like CAN, SPI implementation, testing and debug experience required\nBSP (Board Support Package) implementation, testing and debug experience required\nC programming experience required\nWireless Communications like BLE, UWB and NFC implementation, testing, debug experience preferred\nEVITA Cyber Security implementation experience preferred.\nASIL functional safety implementation experience preferred.\nMatlab/Autocoding experience preferred.\nDevOps with CICD experience preferred.\nProficiency in MS Office tools is essential.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nGood oral and written English language skills. \nStrong technical writing skills. \nAbility to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment. \nPROBLEM SOLVING\nSelf-starter. The candidate must possess strong analytical capability.
