Join us!\nThe 504 Coordinator role is to work with staff to improve educational outcomes for all students through high-quality interventions that are matched to students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavior needs.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nDevelop, revise, and format all paperwork to service the 504 plans at OHVA \nMaintain Section 504/ADA Compliancy \nGuides 504 referral, evaluation, and service delivery process \nDevelop, write, and implement accommodations of a 504 plan(s) \nSchedule yearly reviews on all 504 plans \nMaintain the 504 data base, all student files (forms, plans, tracking, testing accommodations) \nMaintain open communication with all families' w/questions about existing or future 504 plans \nCollect the necessary information that qualifies a student for a 504-accommodation plan \nProvide training/guidelines about procedures and eligibility requirements for 504 plans to staff. \nEnsure 504 plan accommodations are in place in educational and testing setting \nReceive and review a copy of all 504 plans from other schools for new students \nCoordinate school efforts to comply with Section 504 regulations including training of staff \nMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's degree in health, Education, or Social Services AND \n3 or more years of experience in the area of health or education \nMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency \nThe ability to clear required background check \nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nStrong written and verbal communication skills \nStrong presentation skills \nOrganizational skills, multi-tasking abilities \nAbility to work without direct supervision \nFlexible schedule; Ability to travel up to 10% \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nThree (3) years of directly related experience in an online school setting \nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
