Striim provides real-time data integration that streams changes from operational databases into analytics and machine learning systems. Founded in 2012 in California by former GoldenGate engineers, it processes and enriches data in flight. Enterprises use it to keep artificial intelligence applications working on fresh data.

Striim, (pronounced “stream” with two i’s for integration and intelligence), is a unified data integration and streaming platform that connects clouds, data, and applications with unprecedented speed and simplicity to deliver the right data at the right time. Striim is used by enterprise companies to monitor events across any environment, build applications that drive digital transformation, and leverage true real-time analytics to provide a superior experience to their customers. At our company, we believe and expect all of our employees to operate as one with unlimited potential and dignity.

We are seeking a highly technical and commercially minded Technical Product Marketing leader to support Striim's technical narrative across Application & Data Modernization, Event Stream Processing, and the Real-Time Contextual Data Platform for Enterprise AI. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between Product, Engineering, Sales, Alliances, and the developer community, transforming complex technical capabilities into compelling architectures, technical proof points, practitioner content, and field-ready assets that drive adoption, influence buying decisions, and accelerate revenue growth.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in modern data platforms, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and AI architectures with exceptional communication skills and a passion for technical storytelling. The Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager is a critical role in shaping how enterprise architects, data engineers, platform teams, and technology leaders understand and evaluate Striim, while helping establish the company as a category leader in real-time data infrastructure and Enterprise AI.

Responsibilities

  • Support Striim's technical narrative across Application & Data Modernization, Event Stream Processing, and Enterprise AI use cases, translating complex platform capabilities into compelling technical positioning and market differentiation.
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures, deployment patterns, architecture diagrams, and technical solution narratives for enterprise modernization initiatives, real-time streaming applications, cloud migrations, and AI-driven data platforms.
  • Create highly technical practitioner-focused content, including blogs, whitepapers, benchmark studies, tutorials, demos, GitHub samples, reference implementations, and conference presentations.
  • Lead the technical component of product launches, ensuring the successful delivery of architecture briefs, demo environments, technical enablement materials, hands-on labs, and adoption-focused launch assets.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales Engineering, and Alliances teams to translate product innovation into field-ready technical assets and customer-facing proof points.
  • Support Striim's technical competitive intelligence program, delivering architecture comparisons, migration strategies, benchmarking analysis, and competitive win/loss insights.
  • Enable Sales Engineering teams through technical training, demo development, proof-of-concept frameworks, evaluation methodologies, and architecture review support for strategic enterprise opportunities.
  • Support high-value enterprise pursuits by engaging directly with customers, prospects, partners, and technical decision-makers throughout evaluation, architecture review, and proof-of-concept phases.
  • Represent Striim within analyst briefings, industry conferences, technical communities, customer advisory boards, webinars, and developer-focused events.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Product and Engineering leadership by bringing field insights, customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and practitioner perspectives into roadmap planning.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate technical content creation, research, enablement, and market engagement while maintaining exceptional technical accuracy and credibility.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, with significant experience in Technical Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, or a related technical go-to-market function.
  • Strong technical expertise in modern data architectures, distributed systems, cloud platforms, streaming technologies, data integration, analytics, or AI infrastructure.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts-including change data capture (CDC), event streaming, distributed processing, data pipelines, and AI architectures-to highly technical audiences.
  • Hands-on familiarity with modern data and AI ecosystems, including technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Flink, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Spanner, Microsoft Fabric, Apache Iceberg, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated success creating technical content that drives practitioner engagement, including architecture guides, benchmarks, tutorials, demos, technical blogs, conference presentations, or open-source contributions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise software sales cycles through technical positioning, proof-of-concept guidance, competitive differentiation, and customer-facing engagements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical stakeholders ranging from Data Engineers and Architects to CTOs and executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, or similar consultative sales frameworks.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gong AI, or similar technologies to improve productivity and content development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep domain expertise in Change Data Capture (CDC), real-time data streaming, event-driven architectures, streaming analytics, data integration, or the Apache Kafka ecosystem.
  • Experience with modern cloud data platforms, including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Spanner, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable technologies.
  • Prior experience supporting AI-native, agentic AI, machine learning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), or enterprise AI platforms.
  • Background in software engineering, solutions architecture, sales engineering, developer advocacy, or product management prior to moving into technical marketing.
  • Experience scaling high-growth B2B software organizations through significant revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Analyst relations experience, including engagements with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, or similar industry analyst organizations.
  • Proven conference speaking experience at industry events such as Kafka Summit, KubeCon, Google Cloud Next, AWS re, Current, or similar technical conferences.
  • Experience marketing and supporting enterprise software solutions within highly regulated industries, including financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, retail, or public sector.
