We bring Stripe’s operating principles to life through thoughtful, consistent hiring practices, a high-quality candidate experience, and data-informed partnership with the business.\nWhat you’ll do\nStripe is looking for a consultative, creative recruiter to support critical Core Business functions. You will partner with senior leaders who shape Stripe’s financial strategy, external narrative, long-term growth, and company-wide decision-making.\nThis is a high-impact portfolio with varied talent markets, senior stakeholders, and roles where the quality of each hire can influence how Stripe operates and grows. You will own full-cycle recruiting, advise leaders on hiring strategy and market conditions, and build trusted relationships with candidates and hiring teams.\nThis is a 12 month fixed term contract and you are employed directly through Stripe.\nResponsibilities\nPartner with senior leaders to understand business priorities, define hiring plans, and develop recruiting strategies that support headcount goals.\nOwn the full recruiting lifecycle, from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff.\nAdvise hiring teams on talent-market conditions, candidate availability, competitive dynamics, and hiring approaches for specialized and senior roles.\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that build broad, qualified candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.\nBuild strong candidate relationships and deliver a thoughtful, timely candidate experience throughout the process.\nUse recruiting data to track progress, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear updates to business leaders.\nImprove recruiting processes where needed, testing practical changes that help hiring teams move with clarity and consistency.\nPartner closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, People Operations, Benefits, Onboarding, and Legal, to support a smooth offer and onboarding experience.\nUphold structured, competency-based hiring practices and help hiring teams assess candidates against the requirements of each role.\nWho you are\nWe're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.\nMinimum requirements\n4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including in-house recruiting experience.\nExperience partnering with senior leaders on hiring strategy, talent-market insights, and complex searches.\nAbility to build trust with senior stakeholders and influence decisions through sound judgment, data, and market knowledge.\nExperience developing sourcing strategies and engaging candidates for specialized or senior roles.\nAbility to use recruiting data to identify trends, communicate progress, and improve recruiting outcomes.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches and shifting priorities.\nA collaborative approach and comfort working across functions to solve problems and improve the hiring experience.\nCuriosity about emerging AI tools and a practical approach to testing and adopting new ways of working.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience recruiting for business, corporate, finance, communications, strategy, legal, or other specialized professional functions.\nExperience supporting senior-level hiring or roles with complex stakeholder groups.\nExperience working across multiple geographies or advising on location strategy.\nFamiliarity with recruiting systems and sourcing tools, including applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management tools, and LinkedIn
