You will focus on building innovative AI-native experiences that help Stripe employees be more productive across various tasks and activities. You’ll collaborate with other teams across Stripe, combine traditional hands-on engineering with emerging AI capabilities, and experiment with different ideas and approaches to empower and delight your users.\nResponsibilities\nWork with a team of smart, motivated engineers who put their users first.\nOwn solutions from end to end, managing complexity and engaging directly with stakeholders to think through everything from success metrics to MCP tooling to the nitty-gritty implementation details of the products you build.\nLeverage the latest AI tooling to refine and optimize both your users’ workflows and your own.\nUse both qualitative and quantitative metrics to determine priorities and measure effectiveness.\nUphold Stripe’s high standards for engineering and product quality and mentor newer team members to do the same.\nWho you are\nWe’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.\nMinimum requirements\nYou have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years of industry experience building rich web experiences using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, etc.\nYou work well across a full stack, from user experience to workflow automations to reliability. \nYou enjoy working directly with users and cross-functional partners to build creative solutions that address their problems.\nYou are able to think rigorously, navigate ambiguity, and make hard decisions and tradeoffs.\nYou enjoy working together with your team toward common goals, but are also able to drive your work forward autonomously\nPreferred qualifications\nYou have a passion for enabling people to do their best work.\nYou have an interest in partnering with creative, non-technical teams, such as those responsible for Stripe’s creative communications and publishing efforts.\nYou have a track record of shipping LLM-powered experiences with a strong understanding of how underlying technologies work.\nYou have industry experience working with Ruby, TypeScript, and React.\nYou are experienced
