As strategic partners, we shape business decisions, champion technology-enabled solutions, own operational strategy, and collaborate across global functions to enable Stripe’s growth.\nWhat you’ll do\nWe're looking for a Monetization Services Specialist - Pricing Activation to join our growing team. This individual will help us improve user experience through accurate and timely onboarding of contracts, workflows and deliver improvements in our integrated financial systems with business partners, financial colleagues, and engineers.\nResponsibilities\nOwn accurate and timely activation of sold custom pricing contracts.\nOwn the pricing activation of custom pricing contracts in Stripe’s billing systems, from intake and requirements validation through configuration and post-activation checks.\nTranslate legal terms including approved pricing, product, invoicing, and effective-date terms into accurate billing configurations; identify and escalate ambiguous or conflicting terms.\nPerform quality-control and reconciliation checks to confirm that configurations produce the expected billing outcomes.\nPartner with internal systems, deal desk, legal, sales ops, internal audit, go-to-market, engineer and account managers to develop and improve operational processes and programs\nPartner with sales to investigate and resolve user inquiries related to onboarding and rate discrepancy issues\nAnalyze our processes and instigate changes to help scale our operations and improve user experience\nWork closely with other Stripe teams to assist with system implementations for billings, collections, and assist with internal and external ad-hoc audit support\nHelp scale and optimize our processes by assisting with the execution of key projects and programs.\nGain unique insights into how businesses of varying sizes and industries operate and scale on Stripe\nCan quickly learn the Stripe ways of working and make a real impact through process enhancements.\nBe a part of building a brand-new team and operational culture for Stripe\nContribute to or act as DRI for with monthly and quarterly flux analysis of key metrics\nContribute to or act as DRI for ad hoc projects\nWho you are\nWe're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.\nMinimum requirements\n4-5 years of relevant financial operations/pricing activation experience or 4+ years of strong customer service experience with a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Tech, or relevant field\nExcellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal\nExcellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze problems and data sets to make complex investigation decisions\nStrong knowledge of gSuite tools, Salesforce, and MS-Office products and experience working with/analyzing contracts and large data sets\nIndependently analyze and evaluate information from various data sources to determine a course of action for a matched case\nDemonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders\nDemonstrated history of taking on various types of challenging projects and producing results\nSolution-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for establishing best practices\nSelf-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented\nThe ability to be flexible and adapt quickly with changing requirements\nPreferred qualifications \nFamiliarity with payments, fintech, SaaS, or other transaction-based business models\nA builder's mindset and a willingness to question assumptions and conventional wisdom\nEnthusiasm for building scalable systems and solving operational problems through process improvements and automation\nExperience with SQL/data-analysis
