That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.\nWhat you’ll do\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain high-scale, distributed systems to work with the company. \nWork within a team to build the core networking solutions, which include load balancing, mTLS networking, fleet health & observability used by product teams to build and operate microservices supporting the company’s business. \nBuild a great customer experience for internal company teams using Infra and play a key role in enabling the company’s Infra to power all of the company’s products globally and at scale. \nScope, design, implement, and deploy robust solutions, making appropriate tradeoffs between reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering, velocity, and cost. \nInnovate, design, and implement software solutions that contribute towards improvement and resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and management at scale. \nContribute to team strategy, roadmap, tooling, process, and culture. \nSet clear goals and provide regular feedback on team member performance.\nWho you are\nMinimum requirements\nMust have a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, or a related field, plus five (5) years of post-bachelor's progressive work experience in software engineering. In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience in Software Engineering.\nMust also have three (3) years of experience in the following:\nSoftware development including in Cloud systems, AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI;\nCreating technical architecture and design;\nBuilding an operating infrastructure and tools that empower developers;\nDeveloping software using Java and GO;\nDeveloping, maintaining and debugging distributed systems built with open source tools;\nBreaking down large, complex systems, identifying shortcomings and optimization opportunities, and making data drive cost performance tradeoffs to influence design decisions; and\nUtilizing systems and tools including: Kubernetes, EC2, Envoy, Linux, and Puppet.\nSalary: $221,187 - $285,600/yr.\nThis salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.\n40 hrs/week\n100% Telecommuting permitted.\nMultiple Positions Available. \nAdditional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
