evaluate tradeoffs across reliability, latency, throughput, resiliency, cost, and engineering velocity. \nImprove service operability by implementing monitoring/alerting, participating in on-call support as applicable, performing root-cause analysis, and addressing recurring failure modes. \nUphold engineering standards through code reviews, documentation, testing practices, and iterative improvements to existing services and systems.\nWho you are\nMinimum requirements\nMust have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field, plus 2 years of related work experience in software engineering.\nMust also have 2 years of experience in each of the following:\nBackend development in Go, including building production services and writing automated tests;\nDistributed systems and microservices, and designing and implementing service APIs, including HTTP/REST or gRPC;\nDeploying and operating services using common cloud primitives computing, networking, and storage in cloud environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI;\nContainers and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes and operating containerized services in production; and\nObservability and production troubleshooting, including using logs, metrics, and tracing to diagnose issues in Linux-based environments.\nSalary: $156,800.00 - $235,200.00/yr.\nThis salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions /sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.\n40 hrs/week\n50% Telecommuting Permitted.\n\nMultiple Positions Available. \nAdditional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses;
