We have in-depth knowledge of specific solution offerings and a deep understanding of customer challenges. We align with specialist product sellers on deals, advise the broader pre-sales team on complex opportunities, support pipeline development and revenue attainment, serve as an advisor on go-to-market sales plays, and provide critical insights to our product and engineering teams.\nWhat You'll Do\nYou will collaborate closely with sales and pre-sales teams to drive pipeline and revenue targets, while also educating the product and engineering teams on market trends and strongly influencing the product roadmap. You will develop deep relationships with senior customer business leaders and grow Stripe's solution offerings with new and existing customers. As a subject matter expert, you will scale the broader organization by creating reusable assets and coaching others on complex, high-value opportunities.\nThe team is looking for an online payments specialist with a proven track record of designing checkout experiences and payment flows for B2C and B2B enterprises. You will engage with Stripe's customers as a thought leader in the conversion optimization space, helping them understand how Stripe Link-Stripe's one-click checkout network-can reduce cart abandonment, improve returning customer conversion, and create a more seamless payments experience at scale.\nResponsibilities\nAct as a subject matter expert on Stripe Link to accelerate opportunities globally\nDemonstrate a deep understanding of checkout optimization, network-based authentication, and the business impact of saved payment methods on conversion\nDevelop expertise with Stripe's Link integration patterns-including embedded checkout, Stripe.js, and direct API flows-and guide customers through key implementation decisions\nAdvise customers on how Link interacts with the broader Stripe platform (Radar, Billing, Connect) to deliver compounding value across their payment stack\nDefine, share, and learn best practices and reusable assets with the broader GTM organization to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team\nCreate reference architectures that help customers visualize end-to-end checkout and conversion improvements\nPartner closely with the Payments product sales team on Stripe's most strategic Link opportunities, leading solution strategy and owning key customer relationships\nPartner closely with the Link product team to get early exposure to new features\nServe as a \"Voice of the Customer\" internally to drive product and feature request prioritization\nIdentify and summarize trends in checkout UX, wallets, passkeys, and network-based authentication, and provide actionable insights to product stakeholders and sales\nAct as an escalation point to drive complex technical issues to resolution with Stripe's engineering team\nStay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation\nSupport marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows\nApproximately 25% travel is anticipated\nWho You Are\nWe're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.\nMinimum Requirements\n7+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting role focused on online payments or e-commerce\nStrong working knowledge of checkout optimization, including conversion metrics, cart abandonment, and the UX and technical levers that influence them\nFamiliarity with payment authentication standards (3DS, passkeys, network tokenization) and their impact on authorization rates\nExperience designing payment flows and integrations for large enterprises, including multi-market and multi-currency scenarios\nStrong knowledge of software engineering and API integration patterns\nExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences\nA proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners\nAbility to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs into web applications\nExperience with A/B testing or
