That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.\nWhat you’ll do\nResponsibilities\nBecome a domain expert in Connect and Risk and Compliance areas of Connect. \nHandle inquiries from internal Stripes and external partners' technical teams with detailed investigation and sometimes code changes. \nOrganize and direct complex technical changes as part of product releases and merchant onboarding and migrations. \nIdentify and automate inefficient or unnecessary manual processes by making direct code changes, or coordinating more complex code changes across Stripe. \nDesign alerting systems using existing tools to respond to incidents quickly, or prevent them altogether. \nConduct data analysis to understand the impact of risk and compliance interventions on the users and surface future product opportunities.\nWho you are\nMinimum requirements\nMust have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience in Technical or technical user-facing roles.\nMust also have 2 years of experience in each of the following:\nDeveloper tools including git;\nScripting and automation skills including Ruby and Python;\nWriting tooling and automation, including testing and idempotency;\nObservability tooling including metrics (Prometheus, Datadog), logging (LogScale), and distributed tracing (Honeycomb);\nIncident response, on-call rotations, runbooks, and postmortem processes; and\nUsing SQL and relational databases including PostgreSQL or MySQL for operational tasks.\nSalary: $137,000.00 - $205,600.00 /yr.\nThis salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.\n40 hrs/week\n100% Telecommuting permitted.\nMultiple Positions Available. \nAdditional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses;
